Fast forward to four years later, Takemi Kazuichi still stayed in the house left by his late parents. He never bothered going to work or going out to socialize with people. For the lack of a better term, he was a rich hikikomori. He never even bothered to check the news or log in on any social media. All he did was live his life in solitude, devoid of any human interaction. One day, as he came out of the shower, he heard a strange thumping sound by the doorway. "That's weird, I didn't order any delivery today." He told himself before absent-mindedly opening the door. And what stared back didn't resemble a human at all. It was a zombie— or so that's what the first thing that came into Kazuichi's mind. Unbeknownst to him, the world had drastically changed, and he was the last one to know.

Announcement— 01/03/2023

Dear readers,

You're probably wondering why I haven't updated... the thing is, I was down with the flu, and to top it all off, I'm prepping for my college finals which would be onsite at our school. I can't believe we're transitioning to actual face-to-face classes which is crazy.

Recently, there've been changes regarding webnovel contracts. As you may know, this book has won third place on a WPC, but it never got a contract offer... for some odd reason. Then again, I'm going to apply for one as soon as I stick to regular chapter updates. I want to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who stuck with me this past year.

I'm looking forward to another year with all of you >///< I will continue to improve my writing and hopefully, I could have more time so I can update more regularly.

Back to the topic, I've been down with the flu for about a week now. It's hard for me to stand up so I've only been staying in bed, trying to sleep the flu out or something. Hopefully, by this week I get better... otherwise, I won't be able to prep for the finals... and that would be a disaster.

Really sorry for the inconvenience, just when things were going well with our shut-in mc here and the story is finally progressing... sigh~ I'm going to get better as soon as possible!

Once again, thank you all so much, I hope you continue to stay and support me as a writer. Have a great read ahead. ^-^ Two of my books are almost finished... but I can't find the time to finish them which is a pain... hopefully I could finish them by this month so I can focus on this novel.
