A Wolf Bite

That was a lie. Klaus knew it. Ice…..She wasn't getting ice. She was somewhere else. And he had a faint idea of where she was.

He walked out of the wedding reception. He was in the Mystic Falls Cemetery.

Caroline Forbes was holding a bottle of bourbon, and standing in front of Stefan Salvatore's tombstone.

"I have just one thing left of you, Stefan." She sat down, leaning against the tombstone. "I gave your daylight to Damon as a gift."

Tears ran down her cheeks.

"I wish you were here" She opened the bottle. "You would have loved this, the wedding day, Stefanie, everything…"

Caroline closed her eyes. Tears fell down her chin.

"I am sorry, I haven't been here for a while." She told him. "And I am sorry…..But, I have to try to move on,"

She ran her hand on the carving. She didn't see Klaus, but he couldn't take his eyes off her. The Love Of His Life Crying Over Another Man. He felt as if someone ripped his heart out.

Klaus Mikaelson stood there, he didn't know if he should stay, or go. He started to move out.

"Nik…..Klaus?" Caroline came out of the cemetery. "How did you find me?"

"I think I know you well, Caroline." he smiled. "It was easy…"

"Oh My God!" She held her head in her hands, "I am sorry, I am being terrible…."

She shook her head softly,

"I shouldn't have invited you here in the first place!" She apologized.

He took her hands,

"It's fine, you get back to your party." He told her. "I'll see you back at New Orleans,"

"It's just that this place brings back a lot…." She admitted.

He nodded,

"Are you sure it's fine?"

"It's fine, Caroline!" He smiled, "I'll see you back at the bar."

"I am looking forward to it."

Klaus Mikaelson and Caroline Forbes walked out of the cemetery. They walked in different directions. This time, Caroline Forbes watched him go. She smiled. She didn't walk away till Klaus disappeared.

The wedding ceremony ended and Caroline Forbes went for a walk. Since Klaus was gone, she hated the empty house. She couldn't take it anymore.

She was walking around the Mystic Falls Woods. She heard growling.

"Uh-Oh…." She murmured.

She started to run. She looked at the full moon emerging from behind the clouds.

Wolves…...Not a wolf, not Tyler Lockwood. This was a pack.

She ran quickly, her foot got tangled in the roots, and she fell down. The wolves surrounded her.

"No…" She tried to move back. A wolf pounced on her and bit her.
