Chapter 2: Presently

Going back to my present after transmigration

I suddenly heard the sound of the wind and when I looked up I saw 12 feet tall human-like men, handsome long golden haired muscled men heading toward the field beyond where I was located. I stayed hidden behind the foliage and bushes, quietly waiting for them to land and heard them talk. I could understand them, but they were speaking using their minds and I could hear them. I tried shaking my head afraid that they would hear my thoughts. I was cowering in fear thinking they could hear my thoughts and start attacking me. I am afraid that these winged men looked like the assimilated beings which took over earth, my home in 2037. Why was I here? This definitely is not earth. Looking at the pink sky with 3 moons and 1 sun, this is not my home planet, but why did I end up here? What is my purpose?

I realized that they were already walking far away from me and entered a crystal cave covered with live greenish blue vines. It moved and showed an entrance when one of the 5 men touched it with a rainbow colored stone. They did not hear my thoughts but I could hear and understand them. I followed stealthily and looked for the same rainbow stones at the foot of the crystal cave. I found one wedged between 2 reddish pink rocks. As I reached for it I was almost caught by the live vines. It tried to stop me from getting the rainbow stone. I used my dagger, which miraculously came with me in the transmigration phase. I was successful in getting the stone and controlling the vines. I went in cautiously as the vines parted.

As I entered the crystal cave, its dimension changed and I found myself in a massive, opulent looking palace. The crystal cave was a gateway to their kingdom. I hid behind the massive pillars just in time to avoid a legion of 10 feet tall soldiers who were not as majestic and handsome as the first five beings I saw earlier. But these legions of soldiers had wings the color of silver, their eyes were a shade of blue, their hair a silver hue same as their wings. They were brawny and muscular and it's like I was among a plethora of handsome actors playing an Avengers or Star Wars movie.  But this wasn't  fake, this was real and I was in danger of being caught. There were no women, maybe they were housed in a different part of the palace. The palace was as big as a country, I would have to explore while staying hidden. The scientist in me wanted to study these amazing but dangerous species. As the legions of soldiers passed, I saw an attendant entering some sort of huge room and I smelled something delicious. My stomach grumbled, I definitely need to eat. I walked slowly, staying hidden behind the huge gothic styled pillars and made my way to what I saw as the palace kitchen. It was as big as a mall. I snuck into one of the open cupboards filled with fruits and nuts and started gathering my rations for at least until such time that I can leave this palace.  I saw another room near the store room and went inside quietly, boiled eggs as big as an ostrich's egg, a semblance of a plate sized dried bacon and ham already cooked there. I saw a huge container and filled it with my supply.  I went to another room, where they have medicinal herbs, and being the scientist and doctor knowledgeable in herbology and botany, I also got my supply to make antibiotics for wounds, pain reliever, fever and all the needed supplies so I can set up camp somewhere in the palace while staying hidden.

I was lucky I guess, the attendants were not there. I saw them in another place busy serving the 5 men I saw earlier.   I couldn't hear their thoughts, maybe they were too far away from me. They were at least 6 feet away from me when they landed earlier and I could hear their thoughts.  I crept slowly still hiding behind the pillars, I heard the palace butlers, maids, and attendants address them as your highness. So, they were the rulers of the land. I crept closer, I needed to be 6 feet near them to hear them talk. This time they spoke, so they communicated in both ways. They had low, husky baritone voices that can soothe a weary and troubled soul. I was lulled by their voice until it dawned on me that they were talking about a space shuttle from our planet coming to them to attack them and steal their precious minerals. Apparently the humans started it! Oh my! They were trying to negotiate for peace and exchange of deals like their precious mineral for a safe island on Earth since their planet was dying! They have an officer from Earth negotiating with them.  I decided to peek and see who the negotiator was and that was when I saw his face and it was not the good guy it was the nemesis of ASEAIT it was AEUM (Anti Earth Unified Militia). AEUM is a terrorist militia bent on wiping out the government, peace and unified alliances for the good of the earth and ruling space. These kings were tricked. I was about to enter and stop them from signing the deal with them when AEUM's commandant, General X  shot them with a laser beam that killed the 2 brother kings incinerating them, the 2 eldest brothers as I got to know their ranks while spying on them  were the highest kings out of the 5 from Planet Zellum, this was the name of their planet.  They had the ability to self learn and protect themselves unlike their 3 dead brothers, and when they were shot at by General X it bounced off their skins and they immediately killed General X with their fiery laser eyes. It was then that I heard the eldest speaking using their minds deciding to attack earth and take over our precious planet. No! It's a misunderstanding, General X is the bad guy you contacted men from earth from the wrong side. I suddenly sprang from my hiding place, spoke to them and tried to explain that we were the good guys ASEAIT not AEUM. Look for Dr. Myi Ziyang, that's me and I will renegotiate. I apologized humbly with the death of their 3 siblings.  Then, I saw myself disappearing, disintegrating, before them still pleading for Earth's safety. I stared into the eyes of the eldest, in earnest supplication showing my utmost sincerity as I stared at the eldest king's rainbow colored jewel eyes filled with hatred and judgment. I looked with sadness, pleading for a second chance. As I saw myself, disappearing far away from them, I thought I saw enlightenment from him, then I was gone.
