「 Blond 」

Akira is just arrived at the place where he going to get his first task in this summer camp. After following the words of the burly man, he immediately went to the event committee and asked for the paper of group list from them.

Even though he was almost late, Akira still managed to take the Bus and join his entourage to the place where the first assignment will be held.

Akira is currently standing and waiting for his partner, but no one has approached him yet.

'Hmm? Shouldn't this be a task in pairs..., why haven't i seen my partner yet, well I'd prepare my equipment first.' Akira thought, he then opened his suitcase and took his thin knife.

The distribution of each group of pairs are in the order of numbers, Akira has number 34 in his hand, which means, his partner should be the one who has number 33, but ... he hasn't seen it anywhere.

When Akira was preparing his cooking tool, suddenly someone approached him, a voice came behind, it was a voice of a girl.

"Geez, I didn't expect it would be a paired task. " The voice said, which made Akira immediately snap around cause he defenitely knew that voice.

And as he looking at her, the girl in front of him, he immediately opened his mouth in surprise, a pleasant surprise.

"Ah ... You are! Blond Haired Examiner!" Akira said as he saw the girl in front of him, That's right, the person who's gonna be Akira's partner in this task is the same girl who tested him in the entrance test.

The God Tongue, 10th seat of Totsuki Elite Ten, Nakiri Erina.

Hearing the voice in front of her, Erina then turned her gaze to Akira and her face turned ugly instantly, that's an unpleasant surprise. She screamed in her head and cursed her misfortune.

' Why its him of all people!!! ' Erina in her mind. But she still trying to keep her calm and serenity.

Akira then smiled and said.

"Long time no see, Blond haired Examiner." Akira said nicely, but that made Erina even more upset.

"Don't talk to me as if we were old friends!!! Also, don't call me that name, I am Nakiri Erina, remember that!" Erina said with an authority in her voice.

Akira is little bit shocked when he heard that before he opened his mouth in confusion.

"Nakiri? Don't tell me ... You and Alice are ..." Akira said with his hands closed.

Hearing Alice name came from Akira's mouth, Erina gasped before he yelled at him, wondering how did he know about her cousin.

"You know Alice?" Erina asked.

Hearing Erina's question, Akira could only nod and answer briefly.

"Um" Akira said.

"So you two are siblings or..." Akira asked who is curious about the relationship between Erina and Alice. Well, they have the same family name, but at the same time the looks very different. Alice is european while Erina is clearly an asian despite having a blond hair.

And for some reason, Erina's face looked annoyed when Akira mentioned her of being Alice's sister.

"Humph ~ She's just an insignificant person," Erina said, turning her face away while crossing her arms in front of her chest. Akira who saw Erina's reaction did not continue the conversation.

He looking at the stock of spices in his suitcase and thought.

'Hmmm, it looks like my spices are going to running out very soon, after this summer training camp maybe I'll go to India or Indonesia to buy the some spices. ' Akira thought.

I mean, the best place to buy something is the origin of that thing, isn't it?

After waiting for a while, a teacher entered the class, it is a caucasian man, he has blonde medium-length layered hairstyle which exposed his forehead. He has a tall stature and a cleft chin. And wearing a typical chef uniform and an orange neckerchief.

He then stood in front of the class and looked at his students before he opened his mouth.

"Hello, all students ..., My name is Donato Gotoda, I'm here will be your examiner in the first task. " The man said in a very weird accent, although its still understandable.

There are some chit-chat between the students.

"Look, we got Gotoda Chef here."

"Donato Gotoda, Alumnus of the 80th Generation of Totsuki, owner of the Auberge Tesoro Restaurant."

After that, Donato started talking again.

"I only have one task for all of you today." Donato said, still in his weird accent to all of the students.

One task? All of the students worried because of that. The task is definitely gonna be so hard because there is no way that Donato are going to give a one easy task to them.

" The task is simple, you just need to make 1 Italian dish that can make me satisfied." Donato said who made the students just tilt their heads, confused.

'Isn't that too easy?' The same question popped in everyone's mind. But Akira know it won't be as easy as it seems.

Donato then spoke again.

"Alright ~, the time is 2 hours, for the next 2 hours you are free to make ANY Italian dish that can satisfy me starting from now!!" Donato said while making a strange pose.

After hearing Donato's words, the students are ready to pick their ingredients before they're realized that there is no ingredients in this room except for the spices and some basic seasoning. Then a student ventured to ask Donato.

"Gotoda Chef, sorry but there are no ingredients at all in this room," She said.

"Who said that the ingredients is in this room?! We are in a beautiful mountain full of nature, there are countless of things you could use as the ingredients here. As long as you didn't crossed the line, which is those wooden fence, Its all Totsuki Properties and you can use or pick everything that you want. Now what are you waiting for? GO! " Donato said.

The students need some time to process his words. What do you mean by we can pick everything we want? They thought. And finally they're realize the difficult part of this task.

They're start panicking and rushed towards the door.

"Oi !!! Come on! There's not much time, we have to hurry."

" Hurry up !!! "

"Stop shouting at my ear!!!"

And now there are only three people left in the room. Erina and Akira were still at their table, while Donato who saw it, approached them and raised his eyebrows.

"Why don't you two go like everyone else???" Donato asked, still in weird accent.

Erina turned her body around as she pointing at Akira.

"Gotoda Chef, I have a request to change my partner, i don't want to be paired with this guy!!!" Akira who just chilling while looking at his spices doesn't seems to care.

Donato who heard Erina's words could only shook his head.

"Oh, i'm sorry but i don't have the authority to do that, you take the group lottery number by yourself and you got him as your partner, fair and square." Donato said who immediately silenced Erina.

"That's indeed right ... But, still, basically, I don't want be a partner of this guy. Not even if my grandfather said so!" Erina still pointing at Akira, who is leisurely standing, he had not yet worn his band and was still in a normal state. After that, Erina turned her body around to Akira before she opened her mouth in a very arrogant tone.

"And you too! You just stay quiet here, Don't follow me! I can do this by myself without your help," Erina said, then she began to walk out of the room and start doing their task by herself.

Akira who saw that could only sighed.

" What a troublesome girl," Akira muttered, then he heard a voice from behind, it was Donato Gotoda's voice.

"Don't she said to you to not following her?" Donato asked. While Akira just walked away casually, he looks so calm even in this limited time.

" Do you really think a girl like her could actually do some heavy work like this? I don't think so. Well then, see ya Gotoda-senpai." Akira said while waving his hand, leaving Donato alone in the room.

He need to catch up with Erina.

In the middle of Totsuki Private Forest, there is a ponytailed blonde girl who seems to hiding behind a tree, that girl is Erina. She is currently watching the chickens who are just chilling there, incubating their eggs.

While Erina just crouched behind the tree, peeking those chicken... well, she did not dare to approach them.

'Grrr ... why do I have to be paired with that guy! Urghhh... I can't just take the chicken, should i just change the ingredients? ' When Erina was still deep in thought, suddenly a whisper came from behind her.

" You don't want to catch that chicken? "

That voice sounds like someone who talks while chewing something. And that's a familiar voice.

Erina who heard the voice immediately snapped around and she saw one of a few people she hated the most, who else it could be other than Akira.

Erina looking at Akira who casually ate the cucumbers in his hand while carrying a basket full of veggies and some other stuff in his other hand.

Erina face turned red, she's irritated as she opened her mouth.

" YOU!! I'VE TOLD YOU, DON'T-" However, before Erina managed to scream and terrify the chickens, Akira closed her mouth with his hand and whispered.

"Idiot, you're too loud, don't scream or the chicken will run away." Akira whispered, but Erina whose mouth was closed kept talking and rebelling.

"Mhhmmmmm" Erina said while trying to get rid of Akira's hand from her mouth. Akira realized that Erina want to say something.

"I'll let you open your mouth but don't be too loud, do you want our potential ingredients to run away???" Akira said. Erina trying to protested, but she knows that Akira is right, so she just nodded with a hesitation. Even though she has calmed herself a little bit.

After that, Akira released his hand from Erina's mouth. And she's still looked very annoyed as she thought.

'Grrrr ... who does he think he is to treat me, Nakiri Erina like this.' Erina thought, screaming in his mind.

Akira then clapped as he said with a smile on his face.

"Yosh, then let me catch this chicken," Akira muttered.

Erina who heard that, stopped Akira.

"Wait, who decides that we will make a chicken dish, I've warned you to-" But, before Erina could say anything, Akira looked at her with a serious look, Its make her stopped instantly.

" Dawg, are you fucking with me? Are you really trying to change the whole recipe just because of that cringy pride you have? Stop playing with me, i've seen you standing here for 10 minutes, and seeing what you brought in your basket, you want to make Parmigiana right? "

Akira said, his casual face disappeared, he was really annoyed with Erina's whole attitude. He is kind enough to followed her recipe, he knows what Erina trying to make as soon as he saw the ingredients in her basket so he wandering around to collecting the remaining ingredients. And now she suddenly want to change the recipe?

Erina who heard that had widened her eyes in surprise because Akira could guess what dish she's trying to make. Even though she still needs a few other ingredients that she couldn't find.

"Humph ~, then made it by yourself if you really can, after all we don't have flour here, I don't care if you want to make it—" Before Erina could finished her words, Akira cut it off.

"I told you, i have collected all the ingredients that we needed including flour." He said. He then handed over his basket to Erina.

"Here, hold it for a while, I'm gonna catch those chickens." Akira said and she couldn't do anything and just accept the basket before widened her eyes as she looking at Akira's basket.

'Where did this guy get all of these ingredients? Even though I've been looking for it. '

After realized that Akira has sucessfully catch those chickens with an evil grin on his face. Erina immediately approached Akira, because she also wanted to collect the chicken eggs. And as she collecting those eggs, she then looking at Akira and thought.

'Hyoujou Akira..."
