"I see... I apologise Kojiro-san, it seems that this history has come to an end." I stared at the Regend, a joke turned legend after the many instances of him coming to aide in our Grand Order.

"One does not need to worry, for I was merely a wraith Okita-san." I nodded as I shook his hand one more time "I do must thank you for teaching me how to do your Tsubame Gaeshi."

"Thank me? It was merely the same process just different forms." The heroic spirits of Chaldea faded away as I too began to convert into golden motes of light. "Guess it was a good run despite simply being an alternative of the original Okita."

"EH!?" I stared around as I stood on a train. Many people stared at me, I looked incredibly out of place with my haori and Norimune.

A voice resounded as the stared broke off.

"Please don't tell me this is some GUDAGUDA scenario. Anything but that."

A small white fluffy creature with small horns appeared, clearly some phantasmal beast. My haori was working fine as my parameters were all one rank above. I wouldn't know what to do without my Coat of Oaths.

The people around the train started panicking in mass hysteria as they could no longer see this as reality. I took the time to observe as I realised that they were speaking Korean. I had somehow ended up in Korea. Perhaps a summoning ritual pulled me over last minute before I went back to the throne?

[Ah. Ah. Does this sound good? Ah, I had a hard time because the Korean patch didn't work. Everyone, can you hear my words?]

The creature spoke as I observed it carefully. It did not pose a danger yet. A man had approached the creature asking what it was doing. Frankly I wanted to know what the creature meant by scenario. It sounded like some estranged GUDAGUDA plot.

[Now, now. All of you, relax in your seats and listen to me. From now on, I will tell you. something very important]

I stared at the world outside as it had completely changed. Okay... Life is not so daijoubu right now. I think I am in an alternate reality.

"What? Quickly get off the train!"

"Somebody call the captain!"

"What are they doing without the cooperation of the citizens?"

"Mother, what is that? A cartoon?"

I scoffed as my hand moved towards my katana. [Haha, you are really loud.] The creature seemed to be really annoyed.

[I told you to be quiet.]

A wave of energy washed over as my magic resistance kicked in. It may have been the lowest of magic resistance but it was still enough to fend off the suggestive magecraft.

Two people's head burst as the creature got more mad. While yes I could have possible prevented their deaths. Information was key right now, this was not my reality, this was not my world. My survival had to be insured by myself, and information was key. The creature was my only information source.

This was no longer common life, but a battlefield in which right and wrong did not exist, only death.

[Everyone, your lives have been nice so far. Isn't that right?]

That piece of shit was starting to sound like Serizawa. That creature was lucky it was me rather than Hijikata who would have killed it on the spot the moment it mocked any semblance of how the Shinsengumi lived.

[Phew, the debt is piling up during the time when you are noisy. Well, yes. Rather than explain it a hundred times, isn't it quicker for you to make money yourself?]

So this had to do with money? This was a problem whether for me or for any of the Shisnengumi. There was a reason Saito was the Shabbygumi, there was a reason Hijikata survived on chilled pickles, a reason that Yamanami had to handle our budget tightly.

The Shinsengumi... were dirt poor.

One or more creatures... Meaning not necessarily humans. And I get 300 coins for it. Fair enough. People started scrambling about as a small fly flew past me. My hand blurred as the katana split the small fly in half before returning to its sheath without a smudge.
