Alfia "The Silence"

"Darn it, this never ends!" A blood-covered Eris said with a frustrated expression.

As she complained, she continued to cut down monsters savagely, blood splattering across her face, making her look terrifying.

"Retreat! Riveria will use magic again!" Elinalise's shout echoed through the dungeon entrance.

Upon hearing the cry, all members of the Rozzo family and several adventurers nearby ran away from the dungeon entrance.

"You're the incarnation of hellfire. With one strike, end the great war. Incinerate them, Sword of Surtr - my name is Alf... Rea Laevateinn!"

A flood of flames engulfed the entire dungeon entrance, most of the monsters incinerated by the terrible fire.

The agonizing howls of the monsters echoed throughout the area.

"As terrifying as ever," Elinalise said, watching the terrible flames with awe.

"Yeah," Eris nodded solemnly, even with her current strength, Riveria's terrifying magic still deeply frightened her.

Descending near Elinalise and Eris, Riveria said with a annoyed tone, "We can't keep exhausting our strength with these monsters. If Alfia shows up, they'll give us a beating."

Listening to Riveria, Elinalise and Eris agreed with heavy hearts.

"Where are the others?" Riveria asked about the rest of the family.

Quickly responding, Elinalise said, "Arkanh, Paul, and Rakash are heading here. Roxy, Talhand, and Sylphie are staying to guard the communication hub, and Ghislaine is killing the monsters that escape us."

"It's a bad idea to be separated. I propose we regroup as soon as possible," Eris said with a flat face while cutting down some approaching monsters.

Furrowing her brow, Riveria's brain began to ponder deeply for a feasible solution.

However, soon Elinalise's cry snapped her out of her thoughts.

"Here comes Arkanh and his group!" Elinalise, who saw the group, quickly alerted Riveria.

Turning around, Riveria saw Arkanh's large group approaching. Sighing with relief, a weight lifted off Riveria's shoulders.

Easily plowing through the huge number of monsters, the group soon reached Riveria.

"Riveria-sama," Arkanh greeted hurriedly upon reaching Riveria.

Nodding, Riveria asked them, "Are you all okay?"

"Yes, ma'am, no one on my team is harmed," Arkanh nodded heavily, then paused to inform Riveria.

"Riveria-sama, the Loki and Freya families made contact with Zard. The fight must have broken out by now," Arkanh dropped a bomb with a solemn face.

"What!?" Riveria raised her voice in surprise, now realizing why both families took so long to arrive.

"Riveria-chan, now that Zard has appeared, Alfia is likely to show up soon," Elinalise told Riveria anxiously.

Nervous, Riveria knew she couldn't stay any longer in this place. Turning to Arkanh and Paul, Riveria gave orders, "Arkanh, Paul, I need you to handle the situation here. Put the crusade against the dark faction aside for now; the most important thing is to control the overflow from the dungeon."

"Don't worry, Riveria-sama, we won't let any monster escape from this place," Arkanh solemnly nodded.

Nodding, Riveria, Elinalise, Eris, and Ghislaine headed back to the communication hub.

As they ran toward the communication hub, Riveria suddenly thought of something.

"By the way, has Rujierd met with Kami-sama?" Thinking of her God, a hint of concern appeared on Riveria's face.

After the chaos started, Riveria sent Rujierd to protect him out of concern for her God.

Eris, hearing Riveria's concern, rolled her eyes. Her God literally beat her, a Level 6.

Defenseless? Eris feels her Kami-sama could join the battle against Alfia without any problems.

These screens were made by Hermes after Uranus briefly released his seal.

The screens show the situation of all Orario; every move of the families is under the Gods' eyes.

"Darn it, that girl Eris from the Rozzo family is so incredible."

"A mortal brought the sword to that level, darn it, I'm so envious!"

"Doesn't the elf called Riveria seem even more terrifying? One spell almost cleared the entire dungeon entrance."

"And she's so beautiful, ahh, beautiful and strong, she's just perfect."

"Hey, idiot, watch what you're saying; remember the identity of the elf. You don't want to go to heaven now, do you!?"

Kaylon narrowed his eyes at the God who dared to think about his Riveria.

"Hey Loki, stop biting your nails," Kaylon, feeling a nail jump to his face, said to Loki with displeasure.

At this moment, Loki was watching the screen of the battle between the Loki and Freya Familias against Zard.

Kaylon remained silent; after all, he could understand Loki's stress. Like Loki, he was a God who loved his family deeply.

Knowing that her children were fighting to the death and being unable to do anything but watch must be very stressful.

Seeing the beating her children were taking, Loki turned to Kaylon with pleading eyes. "Kaylon!! Please, send a divine lightning bolt to that bastard Zard!"

Rolling his eyes, Kaylon replied, "Don't say nonsense, you know I can't do that. I also signed the Genkai rules contract when I descended."

His contract is directly supervised by Gea; if he breaks it, there will be endless problems.

It was supposed to be that all of group number one had to regroup to fight Alfia, however, now there are only Riveria, Eris, Elinalise, and Ghislaine.

Remembering something, Kaylon quickly pulled out his communication crystal.

Sending the signal to Lilia, Kaylon waited for her to connect.

A few seconds later, Lilia connected. "This is Lilia from the communications center; which group is communicating?"

Quickly taking the crystal, Kaylon informed Lilia, "Lilia, it's me, Kaylon. I need you to quickly notify Roxy, Talhand, Rudeus, and Sylphie that the rest of group one will soon be in combat with Alfia!"

The line of Lilia remained silent for a while, and then the hurried voice of Lilia sounded, "Understood, Kami-sama. I'll do it immediately!"

After that, the communication was immediately cut off.

"Sighh... I hope the kids arrive quickly to help Riviera," Kaylon sighed with concern, looking at the screen where Riveria was getting closer to Alfia.

"I sense a strong mana signature, and it's not familiar," While running towards the communication room, Riveria, the most sensitive to mana, felt a strong presence.

"How strong is the mana signature, Riveria-chan?" with a serious face, Elinalise asked Riveria.

"It must be her, Alfia," Elinalise said, furrowing her brow.

"Can we deviate? We're not complete now, and Rudeus isn't here, who was crucial for the battle," Ghislaine asked Riveria.

Rudeus was essential in the plan that the Rozzo family formed for the battle against Alfia.

"I don't think it's possible; she already detected us," Riveria said.

"Then let's go! Riveria-sama, let Ghislaine and me take the vanguard, Elinalise can take the position of damage dealer," Eris said with a somewhat excited tone to Riveria.

Probably the only one without worries among the group was Eris. As a swordsman, retreat was never an option; if there were obstacles, just cut through them.

Riveria could only sigh at Eris's words, though it was good to know that the family had someone who wouldn't back down from anything.

"Alright, let's go confront her. Elinalise, launch a flare at our position; hopefully, the rest of the group will come soon!" Riveria told Elinalise.

Without hesitation, Elinalise took a flare from her belt and quickly launched it into the sky.

A golden flash appeared in the sky, catching the attention of many allies and enemies.

"It's done, Riveria-chan!" Elinalise shouted.

Now with the signal sent, they could only wait for Rudeus's group to join them.

"Alright, we'll take the organization that Eris mentioned. Ghislaine and Eris will take the vanguard, Elinalise will look for opportunities to strike, and I'll stay back and cast spells," Organizing the positions, Riveria prepared her scepters and weapons.

"Understood!" Nodding, everyone prepared their weapons.

Approaching Alfia more and more, everyone in the group felt the nerves of the battle. Of course, when it comes to battle, those nerves can transform into different motivators.

Like Riveria, who used the nerves to fuel her determination.

Or Eris, who used the nerves to fuel her sword.

Or Ghislaine, who, as a warrior, used the nerves to accelerate her growth.

Or Elinalise, who used the nerves to fuel her hope and conviction.

In the end, as adventurers, as warriors, and as members of the Rozzo family, none were willing to flee, nor to lose.

"Fight with everything you have, guys; show the courage and determination of our Rozzo family!" With a firm voice, Riveria spoke aloud.

Approaching the source of the powerful mana, the family soon saw her.

With a calm and majestic air, Alfia was sitting comfortably in a small water fountain in the middle of the street.

"I thought they were going to run away, it seems that I underestimated the Rozzo family." With an indifferent tone Alfia addressed the Rozzo family.

"Heh, how could I run from you when I'm so eager to cut you down," With a mocking grin, Eris looked at Alfia with a bloodthirsty smile.

"It seems the beating didn't make you realize the difference in power, brat. So this time, I'll make sure it's clear to you," Opening one of her eyes slightly, Alfia looked at Eris.

The immense pressure was directed towards Eris, causing every one of her muscles to tense, yet Eris didn't lower her gaze and with her own momentum tried to counter Alfia's.

"Heh, you're still a crazy dog..." With a mocking smile, Alfia looked at the aggressive Eris.

"Alfia, you have joined the dark faction and put the safety of Orario at risk. As one of the three pillars of Orario, we, the Rozzo family, have the obligation to stop you," with a firm attitude, Riveria stood in front of to Alfia and said to Alfia in a serious tone.

"Then try it," With her aura at its maximum, Alfia rose from the water fountain, ready to fight.

Eris, Ghislaine, and Elinalise drew their weapons and stood in front, while Riveria moved to the rear, ready to cast spells.

The tension was palpable, and any movement would trigger the battle.

"Then let's go, Rozzo family! Let me see if you're worthy of being Orario's heroes," Opening her eyes, Alfia launched into battle.
