1 1 - SHE WALKS

She was free. The cave's moorings no longer held her. It was moved by her own feet. How much time has passed, she didn't know. Who set her free? She had No Idea. Probably her creator. She broke the rocks that imprisoned her in that place as if they were just a paper, crumbling them easily with just a touch. The overseers probably no longer lived. Their children were lying dead, and only their bones remained. They ate each other's flesh until food did not exist to feed their bodies. Saw them gradually fading, helpless, inert in her place. In her old prison, they tried to savor her as the last despair act. They died when they touch her skin.

Now her feet were moving, and it was quite a funny feeling. The first steps were messy and clumsy, but she learned quickly. And now, she walked through the land she knew only from others peoples' eyes, but the place was empty. The streets and houses that once were inhabited by their children and the humans' bodies were now taken over by nature, overgrown with bushes, and flowers.

Her body was changed. It wasn't that huge thing anymore. Her nature wasn't to grow and expand anymore. Now, she was able to walk and move around, but she was still starving.

It was snowing outside. Was it because of her? How did she know that it was snow if she has never had contact with such a phenomenon? Thought it was better not to question.

She was free.

She would finally make his creator's wish, after a long time asleep. She would clean that world from those who didn't give value to him. Now she knew what she did wrong since the beginning, and perhaps because of that, her destiny had taken an unwanted way in the past.

But now, she understood how. It was part of her nature, and it was up to her to judge those who would be part of the new world, and who would not.

She walked barefoot through the lands, feeling the trees' leaves between her toes. The energy of everything was connecting to her.

Everything here was her.

And the snow was following her, painting the landscape in white, and covering everything with its snow curtain.

She has waited too much. Now, it was time to begin again.

The right way. With His blessing, her creator.
