Chad was silent for a moment. He did not expect Hendry to be serious this time.
Chad responded, "Got it."
"OK. Is there anything else?"
"Well, there is a charity auction tomorrow. Rayan got the news that Leila might participate."
Hendry's eyes darkened. Seeing that Aryan finally went downstairs and that Kaylah came down to see him off, Hendry answered Chad absent-mindedly.
Without waiting for Chad to reply, Hendry hung up the phone.
Hendry saw Aryan driving away and Kaylah walking in slippers to a small supermarket not far away.
It was late at night, so it was not safe to go out alone and shop at a supermarket.
Hendry followed her without a second thought.
He walked behind Kaylah into the supermarket and saw that she happily bought a pile of food with a smile on her face.
