Chapter 39: Outsider

After declaring their decision to terminate their contract Kevin can only laugh at the situation at hand, 'they do dare to say that into my face?'

"Are you guys out of your mind? You are willing to give up on your careers over an album that you can make any time?"

Argon could not believe what is happening to his brother right now. It isn't something that a person on his right mind can say.

'I will make sure that Mia will talk to me and stay beside me no matter what' that is the only thing that Kevin can think about. After seeing Mia kissing Terrence, this is the only way that he can think of separating the two of them.

"Mia wouldn't like seeing you guys give on your careers over this matter, plain and simple, you just have to go back to Viewbay, like where it was 4 years ago" that's what he wanted. His closeness to Mia, the time where Mia trust him the most.

"Our decision is final" then Faux went out of Ysa's office and he was followed by Max and Ian.

"Your greed will eventually make you lose everything that you treasure" Ysa told Kevin then she also went out of her office leaving Argon and Terrence with him.

"You should know when to stop Kevin Grant" Argon just sighed in disappointment to his brother's action "Your way too old for this cheap play"

"I don't think you understand what I feel Argon!" then Kevin snapped, he expected his brother to understand him.

Even before Argon can answer his brother Terrence faced Kevin, he sat right in front of where he was sitting.

"You see Kevin, Let me remind you that among our group, you are an outsider" it is true that he wasn't really part of them.

True enough, he was the one that gave them a chance to be known, he was the one who pushed through their dreams and he was the one who destroyed it eventually

"Mia trusted you, trusted that you will help her achieve her dream and protect it but instead you use it to your own gain" it was time to let Kevin know what he was doing all this time.

He might hate this guy to the core but still he had become an important person to them

"You took us a part because of your jealousy and greed, I won't question your feelings but I think I have the right to question your actions"

Kevin can't look at Terrence in the eyes not because he believe that what is Terrence saying to him is true but because he is getting more agitated and angry that things are not going his way.

"Please stop brother, before you destroy yourself even more" then Terrence stood up "we're leaving you and the company" then he walked to the door.

For the last time, Terrence was expecting an apology from Kevin and looked again at him, "I hope you realize what you have done before it is too late"

With Terrence leaving the office, the brothers who was once so close now can feel the distance between the two of them.

"What changed Kevin?" Argon was getting more "You're not like this, what happened"

"I need to separate Mia and Terrence again Argon, You have to help me" like a mad person he's grabbing into his hair in frustration.

"Can you even hear yourself? Kevin, you have done enough, it was the heavens that keeps them together, and you can never fight that"

"Argon! You don't understand! I can't stand it, seeing them together" then Kevin starts crying, "It hurts here so much that I can't bare not to do anything"

"That doesn't mean that you are entitled to do anything that you want, Brother, Terrence is right, you are an outsider to them"

"But I love Mia Argon. You know that I love her so much"

"But you can't have her brother, from the start you should have known that you don't stand a chance" Argon sighed at the stubbornness of his brother.

"No! I do have a chance! We were close, she would have picked me if Terrence is out of the picture, that's why I have to separate the two of them"

"You're being delusional Kevin, No you don't have that chance anymore, and you lost it 4 years ago. Can't you understand what have you done? Because of your greed, you betrayed her, the worst thing you could do to her.

Kevin was stunned by his brother's words. Yes he can't denied that he indeed betrayed her, he doesn't mean it, and he need it to save his company that he built on his own.

"I not having any of your antic anymore brother, I have also lost a lot by turning a blind eye to what you did 4 years ago, I'm sorry but I won't help you anymore, I'm handing my resignation fort thing tomorrow"

Argon just grabbed his brother's shoulder and sadly looked at him, their trip yesterday made him realize that he should have talked to his brother he could have stopped him from his stupidity but right now, it is way too late to regret anything that have happened in the past.

In front of the office, Luna was waiting for Argon.

"Are you coming with us?" they have Argon as their manager since the beginning, losing Argon as they exit Viewbay will be a sad goodbye for them too.

"Do you still want me to be your manager? I am also an outsider to your group… I wasn't able to do anything 4 years ago and even turn a blind eye to it" Argon let out what he wanted to say to them since.

"We all have our short comings Argon, but we know that you're not the same as your stupid brother" Ian was the closest to Argon. He also wanted Argon to remain as their manager.

All of them consider him as their older brother and not an outsider.

"I am turning my resignation tomorrow"

Then they all went and hugged Argon in happiness.
