9 Ten_ Ellen_

Every woman had a breaking point, each different to the next. One could be easily triggered another would not be. Some were more patience then others, while others had a bit and the next had little to nothing. It took a lot in me not to break down, I needed to keep my head high and hope for some reassurance. Alisa…had a different way of communicating her pain. She kept walking up and down. Muttering and cursing Lawerence.

Sam had tried to get us to leave for rest but we wouldn't budge. We ended up sending him home and he left. This is where I could be like we slightly complicated. When situations happen we need not want… need you to stay behind but we won't always say it. it needs to be your decision.

I loved Sam but he took too many things I said figuratively…literally. We want you to be persistant, to show that you care…not in a creepy manner but in a way that shows that hey. I'm serious. That ladies was where my boyfriend always got it wrong.

We had been in the hospital, waiting for over five hours and we heard nothing. Alisa sat down a while ago because she grew tired. That though, didn't stop her from firing shots at the guard that watched her. Apprenetly we were to problematic to be left alone…

They weren't wrong.

"You ladies sure, you both don't want anything?" one of the nurses asked.

"Coffee please." I and Alisa chorused.

"I'll get you both one with biscuits." She said with a kind smiled and hurried away. She returned a while later. Thanking her we both immediately took a sip.

It was horrible.

It tasted as stale as If matching the smell of the hospital. Alisa and I gave each other a look of disgust and put the cups far away from us. We weren't willing to be that desperate for it.

Nope.

Someone cleared their throat and we looked up to find the guard holding up two containers. We looked at each other before accepting it. The man got us Starbucks and food. I wanted to hug him and cry at the saving gesture.

"Thank you." I whispered and groaned when the smell hit my nose. I nugged at Alisa and she huffed then looked up at the guard.

"I still don't like you…" she said with a look and I pinched her thigh.

"Ow! Okay okay!" she surrendered. "Thank you." She mumbled.

Another hour passed and I could feel us feeling sleepy.

How long…how long.

"Alisa. Ellen." Someone said and we looked to seen Glen walking to us. You could see from afar that she was extremely exhausted and the man she walked with, matched with her. Both walking with the somber aura as though an outfit.

Alisa and I helped each other up, both wide awake at that moment. Did she and the baby make it? is she going to make it?

"She lost a lot of blood but we were able to save her life. She'll just have to come for treatment and take medication every month. Join a support group for a bit." The male doctor said, I looked closer at his tag to find out he was called Jenson.

"Thank God." Alisa said with a huge sig of relief.

"The baby?" I asked and suddenly tension filled the room.

"She didn't make it." Glen said with a sad look.

"It was a girl." Alisa said…

"Had we known earlier, we most probably would've been able to save them both but it was too late," Jenson said.

"Does she know?" I asked

"Yes. We had to tell her but she isn't taking it good at all." He said.

"May… we- can we-please…" I tried to say but I was at a loss of words.

They both looked at each other with worried looks but nodded. As soon as we entered, the sight broke us.
