The Aftermath

Sarah had been feeling a little overwhelmed by the situation. The news had spread like wildfire as well. They have added things to their articles: some true and some fabricated. Many have voiced their option and some have argued that what I did was wrong.

"These people are crazy, they won't understand the real situation, even if you explain," said uncle Holland.

"Yes, it seems these people have too much free time," said Alex going through some gossip sites.

"They have been voting to find out if you both did right by hiding the marriage," laughed Uncle Holland.

"So what's the verdict?"

"A tie,"

"Who proposed such an idea anyway?" I asked.

"I guess it's Megan's revenge for you, Alex," said uncle Holland.

"Oh yeah, she called me and went on blabbering something that I kept the phone to a side,"

"Good!. Ben where is Little Bud?"

"She went shopping with Meg," I said.

"Not went, dragged her to go shopping," said Alex.

"What about security?" I asked.

"AHA!!!"

"Alex, you really didn't send the security with them?" asked uncle Holland.

"Before I can do something, she fled like a road runner," said Alex innocently.

At the same time, my phone rang, "Hello,"

"Alex put on the tv" I screamed calling Markus to come with his team.

Sarah and Meg had been shopping without any worried until someone posted a photo of them on her Instagram. This created a bunch of fans - yes Alex and I have a fan club we never knew was there. And they were the ones who made the biggest fuss about us being married- have surrounded them and started to attack.

The Mall security was not enough to manage the situation. Which ended up..

"Sarah....." I rushed and held her just before she fell to the ground. "Call the ambulance ... quick,"

Alex took care of Meg, who was also attacked and injured in the incident. Markus while all this was happening took charge,

"Seal this whole area and none of you are allowed to exit the premises," he said in a tough voice.

"Why can't we leave, we didn't do anything" and so on.

"Really I will check the security camera and all of you who had harassed our Madam will be sent to the police for further investigations,"

The police arrived and the surveillance cameras were checked, and about fifteen people were arrested. The fun part was they all were from that stupid fan club. But their president was not present. And he or she was the one who suggested attacking our wives who don't deserve us, according to them.

Meanwhile,

Meg had a broken arm and a few bruises. While Alex went on blaming her for her tomboy manners. Specially after the news was revealed.

"HI how's Sarah?" asked Alex.

"She is still unconscious," I said looking at her.

"Ben I am so sorry. I didn't think we had such anti-fans and I just wanted to cheer her up,"

"I know Meg, but please be careful next time. But why did you want to cheer her up?"I asked curiously.

"Well she had read those comments and the news which made her feel a bit self-conscious and I wanted to tell you but she told me not to,"

"hmm..."

"So I tried to help her in my own way,"

"It's alright MEg, don't worry yourself. Alex take her home and rest for a while,"

"We'll come back with some dinner for you too," said Alex and left with Meg.

I looked at the sleeping beauty beside me. I am still waiting for the doctor's thoughts on her condition. Meanwhile, my father held a press meeting regarding the matter and he was pretty mad at what happened.

With the help of the police, we were able to quickly catch up with who was behind this. And it was nonother than Ms.Megan. The person who had been claiming she owns Alex. Well, my father found out the details a lot quicker and I am not sure how the outcome going to be as I watched the live telecast.

"I am sorry my son is unable to join to answer your questions as he is taking care of his wife, who is unconscious after the incident that happened in the Mall." said my father.

"Sir what is her condition?" asked a reporter.

"It's still unknown and she has been recovering from a previous head injury due to an accident,"

"Do you think this is planned?"

"Obviously, someone is behind all these,,"

"How is Ms.Meg?"

"She has a broken arm and bruises. It will take about three to six months before she can do surgeries again,"

"Sir, do you know who is behind this?"

"Yes we have found out the leader of this fan club and her motives were not good intentions. Things that supportive fans do, to my knowledge. The police have detained fifteen people who attacked my daughters and the .."

"Sir do you know the person who ordered this?"

I saw the devilish look on my father's face, this is not going to be good,

"Yes, the person is nonother than Ms.Megan McClarie of Clara corporations. And we will take necessary legal action against Ms.Megan," with that my father concluded the event.

It's true many young women looked up to Megan, but there was a side no one knew except a few. Her father who was a friend of Alex's dad had revealed some things she had done so far, that are not forgivable. And from a young age, she had been with an obsessive nature to have Alex as her husband.
