Mr.Chaso and a robber

The "I can spend any amount I want" was the motto Alex was going on with. He has been looking a bit distracted all the way to the restaurant.

"Hiii Nutmeg, what's up?"

"Nothing,"

"Are you sure?"

"Hmm.." and he went on driving while Ben and Sarah were talking about something regarding a new book.

They got to the place in about half an hour. This was a new place found by Alex and he had been trying to find a chance to get his friends here.

"The place looks lovely, Alex. How did you find here?" asked Sarah admiring the view and the cool breeze.

"They had this place on a Mag and I really wanted to come here,"

"I guess Sarah would love to come here more often?" said Ben looking at her.

"OH right, almost forgot, I had already placed the order for us. Hmm. Markus, you and your team can order what you'd like. My treat, so don't shy away," said Alex talking with Markus who was at the table behind with his team.

As usual, Sarah and I shared the food as we both liked the food that was ordered by Alex for us. Yes, he had ordered our favorites. Meg on the other hand didn't let Alex touch her food, which was delicious by the way.

"Can I talk to the chef please?" Sarah asked at the end of the meal.

"I will ask him to come,"

An elderly gent who looked like Santa clause in a chef's suit came to our table.

"Did you wish to see me, Mama?"

"Yes, I have to compliment you on the food. They were so delicious," said Sarah.

"Can you surprise us with a dessert, sir?" chirped Alex.

"Thank you, sir. Yes, I will. Please give me an hour to get it ready for you all,"

While the chef went to do his work. Alex had been acting a bit nervous, but I couldn't understand why.

"Hmmm... girls," he said at last. With both of them looking at him.

"Hope you guys like this," he said handing them two gift boxes.

Sarah handed it to me, to be opened. When I opened it I saw two similar design rings, with unique two stones embedded. The same was there in Megs. Which made us look at Alex hoping for an explanation.

"Hmm.. I got all of us the same friendship ring with a red and a yellow diamond in it. They symbolize courage, happiness, and friendship. I want you guys to wear this all the time, as a unique symbol to only us. There is a specialty in these rings as well, but I will tell it at a later time." said Alex putting on the ring on Meg's hand.

"So thoughtful of you," I said with a pat on his shoulder.

"I want us to be remembered for a long time. The "US" is a special bond," he said.

At the same time, the chef arrived with our dessert. He had made four different desserts for us,

"Sir, why did you make four different ones? it must have taken a lot of time," said Meg already smelling the aromas coming from them.

"Well mama, I studied you kids for a bit and made these to suit your personalities," he said with a smile.

Alex, got a brownie with nuts, Meg had something with ice cream, Sarah had a piece of gateau with fruits and I had a slice of orange cheesecake. And I have to say the chef had really gone overboard with these.

After we complimented the chef, we started to head back to our cars, when we heard a scream from a corner off the road.

I motioned the team to look into it and we saw a person running with a handbag. The team was able to capture him and help with the old lady.

"Ben, look at the guy, doesn't his tattoo look familiar," said Alex while we were at the police station.

"Hmm.. yes wait," I said and searched for the photo of Stacy's husband, Liam's right-hand man.

"Alex, they do similar,"

"So they could be on the same gang?" asked Alex.

"They could be together," said Markus but we need to confirm.

While we went home, Markus handled the situation at the police station. After informing the situation to Paul, he intervened we were able to get more information about the robber.

He was a member of the venom gang, but he has only been involved in smaller matters like threatening and robbery. Well with what we found he is still a new member on testing by the Leader.

Paul promised to find out more details about them and let us know as we pledged to help with the investigation with the details we find. This is going to be a big battle in the coming days as looking for information is going to be a tougher challenge, as we might have to break into their headquarters.

"Ben, whatever we do, we have to think of the safety of the girls,"

"Yes, we will have a separate team for them, so that they can be safe," I said to Alex.
