Stronger

Something turned in his heart as he stared down at Aurora's unconscious body in his arm. Had he been too harsh on her?

The minute she pricked her finger, he had felt it and knew something was wrong but he thought he wouldn't be able to come save her because of his situation but then he suddenly found himself in her room and was surprised. She had summoned him, how was that possible?!

Just then, her parents bursted through the door and Xavier rolled his eyes when he saw the fury in Nikolas' eyes.

"How are you here and what did you do…."

"Don't come any closer" Xavier boomed, cutting Nikolas off. Nikolas and Roseline's eyes widened when they suddenly couldn't move their bodies.

"You shouldn't be able to use your powers, that's impossible" Nikolas uttered in utter shock.

"Stop talking so I can save her" He muttered before turning back to Aurora. He also didn't understand why he was able to use his powers because he had never been able to in the past. Was it because of her?

He brought his wrist to his mouth, bit into it with his fangs then fed his blood to Aurora.

"After this, you have to take her to the doctor just in case" Xavier muttered and he heaved a sigh of relief when he saw the color sipping back into her skin.

He stood up with Aurora in his arms then handed her over to Nikolas.

"Go" Nikolas gasped when he could suddenly feel his body. Without saying another word, he rushed out of the room with Aurora in his arms and his wife behind him.

Xavier stood there then glanced down at his side. The stake was still there so how was he moving so freely? What was going on?

He sighed and was about to teleport back to his Cave when he heard Aurora's voice in his head.

"Xavier? Don't… don't go" He sighed as he massaged his temples. That little wolf…

He sighed before teleporting away.

Nikolas and Roseline kept their eyes on Xavier while standing as far away from him as possible. They didn't understand what was going on and were ready to charge at Xavier in case he was planning anything in his head.

"How are you here?" Nikolas questioned and Xavier slowly turned to him with dark eyes.

"If you keep talking, I might just go against my morals and kill you right here" Roseline gasped while Nikolas' eyes widened.

Before Nikolas could say anything else, the doctor walked him was Veronica. She immediately walked to her parents and gasped when she saw Xavier. Never in her life had she seen someone as handsome as he was.

Why had she never seen him before and why was he here? Who was he?

Before she could ask any question, The doctor sighed as she stared at Nikolas and Roseline.

"How is my daughter? What happened?" Roseline questioned with panic in her eyes.

"Your daughter was harming herself" Roseline gasped with her hand over her mouth and Veronica and Nikolas' eyes widened.

"Self… self harm? Why…why would she do that?" Nikolas questioned but the Doctor shrugged.

"I can't tell but what I do know is that your daughter must have fallen in the deepest part of depression, causing her to finally want to end it all" Roseline immediately broke down and Nikolas held onto her as silent tears fell down his cheeks.

"This is all my fault" Roseline cried out but Nikolas shook his head.

"It's my fault. I was the one who was harsh on her, it's my fault"

"It's everyone's fault" They all suddenly turned to Xavier as soon as he said that but his eyes were on Aurora.

"This was not the first time this had happened, she had inflicted pain on herself before' Xavier muttered then turned towards them as they gasped.

"That's impossible! All this started when you came into her life and brainwashed her!" Nikolas yelled as his eyes flickered.

"Believe whatever you want, I don't care about your opinion anyways but what I do know is that she knew exactly where to harm herself, meaning she has done it before. You both are incapable of raiding her if you don't know everything that's going on in her life or understand her" Nikolas was about to charge at Xavier but Roseline held him back.

Mainly because they didn't know to what extent Xavier's powers had returned and because he was right.

"Is that why she's drawn to you,because you understand her?" Roseline asked slowly with a low voice but Xavier didn't reply because he didn't have an answer. He has never understood anyone in his life before but somehow, he felt him and Aurora were similar in some ways.

"Mo… mother?" They all immediately turned to Aurora as soon as they heard her soft tired voice.

Roseline immediately rushed up to the bed and grabbed her hand.

"My love, I'm here, I'm here" Roseline murmured as tears streamed down her face.

"Are you all… are you all still mad at me? I'm sure you're… you're disappointed in what I did" Roseline shook her head.

"We are not, okay? No one is mad or disappointed in you" Roseline immediately wiped away the tears on her face then kissed her cheek.

"Dad?" Nikolas immediately rushed up to the bed and grabbed her other hand.

"I'm here, my love. I'm sorry for shouting at you, I should have never done that. I'm not disappointed in you, okay?" Aurora shook her head as she bit her lower lip.

"But I'm tired. You all should have just let me die as a child" Roseline immediately broke down and hugged Aurora as they both cried.

"Don't say something like that, Aurora. How can you… how can you say that?" Roseline muttered in between cries. Even Veronica began to cry while Nikolas held back his tears.

Xavier on the other hand just stared at Aurora without saying a word. He wasn't even sure she had noticed his presence yet.

"We love you so much, Aurora. Everyone of us loves you so much. Don't ever think that you're better off dead to all of us because that's not the truth. You give us a reason to want to live, my love so please, I'm begging you,never do this again" Roseline cried out while Aurora just silently cried.

"But I…."

"But nothing. You're just weak, Little wolf" Her eyes immediately widened as she abruptly turned towards where Xavier was standing, staring at her. She'd thought she had imagined him there and that's why she wasn't paying attention to him but… he was really there.

"How are you here?" She mumbled.

"And what did you want to achieve by killing yourself?" Xavier uttered with a scowl on his face.

"You don't understand what I was feeling, I…."

"You were feeling unaccepted, like a burden? Hopeless and dejected, weren't you?" Her eyes widened.

"How did you…"

"So that's why you tried to kill yourself? That was a stupid decision and I'm not surprised you thought that was a good decision because you think like a child" Everyone gasped including the doctor.

"How dare you talk to my daughter like that? Can't you see her condition?" Nikolas thundered and Xavier slowly turned to him.

"You both are to blame for her childishness. She's not strong and that's why she keeps feeling this way. Do you think talking to her like a child would change a thing? The next time you yell at her or do something she doesn't like, she'll harm herself again"

"That's not true," Aurora muttered.

"Shut it!" Xavier boomed with anger in his eyes and she gasped.

"Xavier!" Nikolas yelled angrily and was about to charge at him but Aurora held his hand then shook her head at him before turning to Xavier.

"Your parents will not be here forever and when they're gone, what then? You'll kill yourself and no one would be there to save you. There's a Whole world beyond your pack but you would never get to experience it because you're a weak little pup and would be dead the minute you set your foot out of this pack. Stop making things hard for everyone and get stronger!"
