"Don't." Theodore stopped her instantly. His gaze darkened as he was pulled down from heaven to the core of hell once more. "My mom is sick. She doesn't need to know what's happening right now."

"Then you shouldn't be weak-willed towards Lance. He can be the destruction of your family," Angel said. She faked a sad expression and sighed, "I really wish I didn't need to do this. After all, I've practically raised Lance with you."

Angel squeezed tears out of her eyes and added, "I also don't want Kate to know about this. She's been very good to me and helped me when I was at my lowest." Angel muttered. "But if we let Lance run rampant, maybe he will do something bad that will worsen your mom's health."

Theodore's gaze darkened and cooled. 

He felt very uncomfortable having to suppress his little brother. 

But Angel was right.
