"What happened in Bali?" Madeline repeated the question. Then she quickly got defensive: "N—Nothing. There's nothing wrong in Bali. I was in that reality show created by Valerie and Lance, and I got eliminated, so I went home."

"That's true. That's the information that I got from Valerie, too." George hummed for a moment and continued, "But she also said that you and Lance caused a commotion during the final. You even made two men, Lance and Zane, fight while the filming was ongoing."

'Fuck, she told George everything,' Madeline cursed Valerie, the blabbermouth, who didn't have an ounce of self-awareness. 

"My brother hasn't told me anything about Zane Eastwood. But judging from your reaction…" George grinned as he leaned towards her, and Madeline quickly scooted back to give them a bit of distance. "…There must be something between you and Zane, huh?"
