Chapter Five.

Amma chose the perfect dress and kept everything aside then she went to bed while back at the palace the prince is having a tough night, thinking of how things will be tomorrow, he just can't stop thinking even after been assured by his sister that everything will be fine. Prince Jalal wants to spend the rest of his life with Amma but he isn't sure if his dream will come to reality or not.

It was a long night for both Amma and the prince, one is happily waiting for morning and the other is worried, and then came the morning.

Amma's POV.

I got out of bed after a long stretch, full of excitement and energy ready to start the best day of my life.

"Oh sister food is ready and i'm starving, please come out soon" Hakeem announced out loud.

I quickly jumped out of bed, freshen up and went to have breakfast with the family. We have a rule in my house that everyone should always eat together especially breakfast and dinner, my mother always says if family eats together they will stay happy together forever.

"Good morning everyone" I happily said to everyone.

Good morning Amma. Everyone replied.

"Sister did you really sleep last night" Hakeem sarcastically asked.

"Maybe I did or maybe not *laughs*"

Amma's mother isn't sure if she should let her attend the event or not, she's scared something might go wrong and they will blame her daughter and besides the event isn't for ordinary people, Mrs Asiya shares her thought about the event with the family.

"My dear i believe in my daughter and I know nothing wrong will happen, this has been her dream please don't stop her" Mr Ahmad replied.

"Mother i know sister very well, i know she will be in her best behavior and this has been her dream for a very long time now so please don't stop her mother"

Even before Amma could speak for herself, both her father and brother spoke for her.

Mrs Asiya isn't pleased with the decision made by them and Amma couldn't help the tears but to run to her room.

Hakeem went after his sister to console her and Mr Ahmad tried to make his wife understand how important the day is for Amma, not just because she wants to get into the palace again but because she made a promise to the princess.

"You should understand this, i won't be going to the palace today and Amma will get scared after seeing the crowd i know that" a concerned mother spoke.

"I know you're worried about her but the princess is there for her and you told me the princess is a very good person so she won't let anything happen to her i know" Amma's father consoled his wife.

"I just don't want my daughter to be humiliated" Mrs Asiya spoke in a low tone.

Hakeem was eavesdropping on them and went Mrs Asiya spoke of humiliation he came out and spoke for his sister "Mother why will she be humiliated, first she didn't go to get the prince to like her or to win over the prince's heart, mother she's only going there as the princess's friend and i know my sister will be at her best behavior after all you're her mother" Hakeem emotionally blackmailed his mother and luckily she agreed.

"Are you ready to go or you still want to cry more *mother smiles and hugs Amma*"

"Thank you mother and i promise to be in my best behavior"

"I trust you dear"

"Why ain't you going to the palace today mother"

"The princess saw how exhausted i was yesterday after the preparations were over and told me i needed some rest and that she will be sure to make my assistant takes care of everything for today"

"The princess is a very nice lady, she's my favorite already mother"

"Enough with the emotional talks can i see what you will be wearing for the event"

"Yes yes right away and guess what the princess is sending a car to pick me up *dances with her mother round*"

"I see, you must be the princess's favorite and guess what she's just as nice as her brother"

Amma's mother kept telling Amma how great everybody in the palace is as Amma changed into her simple and beautiful pink dress.

What do you think mother!

"Wowwwww you look beautiful Amma, be happy my darling" mother hugs her.

"Thank you mother"

Knock knock.

"Wow sister you look beautiful i promise" came in Hakeem's voice from the door.

And a car is here to pick miss Amma from the palace. He added.

"Thank you brother and where's father he needs to see his beautiful daughter before she leaves"

"Indeed my angel is the most beautiful person in this world" came Father's voice on seeing this daughter.

"Oh wow father, so your wife isn't the most beautiful person!" Hakeem sarcastically asked.

"Silly boy at least she gave birth to the beautiful child" Amma replied.

Everyone laughs.

*Knocks

"Ma'am we should be going, we're getting late" the driver gave a knock on the door.

"Sure sure"

Father gave Amma his blessings and so did Mother and she left.

Don't forget to tell the princess that your brother the handsome boy is waiting for her *laughs*

I will brother *laughs*

-Amma is on her way to the palace and also to receive a very big and shocking surprise of her life.

I just hope things don't get messy even though it has to be much of a deal because not just the prince but also the princess kept the truth away from her but one thing i am certain of is i know there's a very strong reason behind all this, i just hope Amma understands it all.
