Chapter 8: Share A Cigar

Liya has been busy these days. She finally got a free day this weekend. She had flown out for a photo shoot and only came back last night.

She slept from midnight till the afternoon. It was almost lunchtime. She woke up and felt hungry. She wasn't a particularly good cook but she could cook some basic things.

However, she felt too lazy to cook. She woke up sleepily washed her face and brushed her teeth. She only wore night pants and a vest so she changed into brown baggy pants and picked up a black sweatshirt.

Then she took her phone. She had a white mountain bicycle with different sizes of tyers. There was also a wooden basket in front. She took her wallet and put it in her pants. Then she drove to the grocery store.

It was not too near but she reached there after 15-20 minutes on bike. It was the only one in that area. This area was well known and after this area, there was a high-end area.

Sometimes, people from nearby come from different areas. Moreover, there was an ice cream shop beside it as there was a Park just a distance away from the shop.

Liya parked the bike and went inside. It was quite crowded on the streets. Many people who didn't have time eat cup noodles and etc at the grocery store.

In the middle of the crowd, she went inside. Her hair was in a mess but she was still a beautiful mess. After all, being gifted with looks was a blessing.

She then brought two vegetable sandwiches with healthy milk juice. Then she took it and sat on the table. As she opened the packet, she remembered that she left her wallet on the counter. So she went to pick it up.

Then as she walked back, suddenly it got crowded near the entrance and she got stuck behind. She stood back and waited for the crowd to disperse. As the crowd began to disperse, she looked and saw a sparkling dress.

A police uniform with badges and stars and it was shining so beautifully and she was instantly attracted. She looked up at the face and came in contact with a pair of grey eyes. She was stuck.

Grey eyes were rare and she had such a beautiful pair along with that heavenly face that she couldn't stop staring.

Eliza stared back until someone said excuse me as she was blocking the entrance. She quickly moved and walked away. Liya also walked back absentmindedly.

She sat down and ate her sandwich. She wasn't craving heavy food so she didn't eat too much. However, she couldn't taste it at all as she was lost in her thoughts. When she was done with one sandwich, she suddenly got up.

It was all instinct but she walked around slowly. Her eyes looked around carefully in search of someone. However, she couldn't find anyone at all. A sudden burst of regret filled her heart but she ignored it.

She walked back like nothing happened. However, her eyes were blank and empty. Her normal face turned poker as she picked up her sandwich and shake and walked out. She put the wallet in her pocket and walked out.

She put the things in the basket of her bicycle. She was about to sit on the cycle when she saw a shadow. She saw smoke coming out from there and noticed that it was a smoking area.

Her heartbeats unconsciously fastened as she slowly walked towards them. And then she saw a cool figure smoking cigarettes. However, she was surprised by not feeling disgusted and realised it wasn't the smell of tobacco. It smelled like mint or something.

She slowly approached her. She also noticed that she had an electronic cigar. It looked like a normal cigar but was more like a vape inside.

Eliza noticed someone coming and turned around. She noticed it was that person. Something changed in her eyes but she didn't know what.

She started at Liya as Liya came closer. With Eliza staring at her, it wasn't helping. Eliza had a look like 'What do you want? Why are disturbing me' which made her think twice.

" Uhem, Hi... " she said with an awkward smile.

" Hi." Eliza hooked her eyebrow up as if asking to finish my business already.

" I um, I just wanted to get a smoke. Can you share a cigar with me?"

" As you can see, it's not a cigar. It has no tobacco," she said expressionlessly.

" That's fine with me. I don't smoke tobacco."

" Oh... " I knew she was suspicious of my intentions but this was the first time I felt like risking everything if I could get this girl. She just made her feel too attracted like never before.
