She's The Alpha

Defiance Isa Aradale a 16th century imperial crown princess and daughter of the Wolf king Emperor, Alexander Lucian and White Witch, Janessa thought that being on the run and in hiding in the 21st century with her uncle Judd was going to be the hardest thing she ever has to do but it turns out that being a twenty-first century teenager was even more difficult and as cherry on top she falls in love with two Alpha bloods both willing to move heaven and earth for her. Now, she has to choose between the fun loving but somewhat heartless king of white oak highschool, the future Alpha of his pack, Conrad or Conrad's best friend the red haired secret nerd, Jeremy that she can't stop thinking about. What will she do? Will Defiance go back to her century to battle, werewolf, vampires and witches? or will she tough it out and make a choice? The simplest decision might be the hardest choice she has to make. ***** A peek from the book Jeremy pulled away almost immediately. He stared at her like she was a two headed monster and he was just realizing it for the first time or maybe he was watching himself through her iris and he was the two headed monster. He exhaled again and again. This was bad. This was so bad, what kind of a friend kisses his best friend's girlfriend? A dick! He answered for himself. He was getting a hold of his senses again, even took a step back from her but then he heard her voice. "W-what…what was that for?"  She sounded out of breath like she had run a marathon or something. "Why did you do that?" She asked him again. "I don't..I don't know" "Are you toying with me, Jeremy?" "Did that feel like I was toying with you? Staying away from you is the hardest thing I have done in a long time, Diddy" He pulled away to look at her but then he saw the look of horror in her eyes. He followed her gaze and found Conrad standing behind him. "Conrad!" Defiance covered her mouth. "You son of a bitch!" Conrad's punch was parked with so much force that Jeremy staggered and fell to the ground. "Conrad" Defiance tried to touch him. He turned to her sharply, his iris the brightest she had ever seen. It was a warning glare. "Don't you dare! You know what? You both deserve each other!" Conrad turned around and started walking away. Defiance covered her mouth immediately as tears streamed down her face. "Conrad!" She called out to him one more time. Jeremy stood up from the ground and he tried to touch her but she took a step back. "Not right now, Jeremy…please, go home

Chapter 16: It is a sex thing.

Chapter 16: It is a sex thing.

16th century

When Alexander came to, he had a throbbing pain at the back of his head. He felt dizzy and he wondered about the object that was strong enough to knock him out completely.

"Good! You are awake. For a minute there, I thought I had actually killed you. Planning a funeral and an escape would have been bothersome. And I would be required to wear those awful black clothes and a veil, which I don't really mind"

"Thank the moon, I am alive" It was pure sarcasm. Alexander's headache prevented him from grabbing her neck and applying just a little pressure.

He tried to look around but whatever she knocked him out with, made the forest a floating image. Yet he could see it was mid day and Janessa was roasting a creature of some sort.

Her real short black hair fell softly to her shoulder as she devour what ever poor creature, she had murdered.

"What did you hit me with, Janessa?" Alexander was slowly becoming aware of his environment.

The forest finally stopped moving. And he could see clearly now.

Jamie stared at the object she used as a weapon. It was a log of wood.

"I used the wood. It will give you a terrible headache if you are lucky"

"And if I am not?" Alexander asked her.

"Then brain damage, brain bleed and any other ailments associated with brain injury. You shouldn't move so much, his Highness" Jamie munched on the bush meat she was roasting on the fire she made.

Alexander wondered why she was telling him not to move so much but he realized soon enough.

"Why am I tied up, Janessa?" Alexander tried to break the rope. He was angry now.

"Why did I tie you up? To prevent you from snapping my neck, his Highness. And you shouldn't move so much or you would give yourself a mighty bruise his Highness"

Jamie ate the last scrap of the meat and moved closer to take Alexander's bottle containing water.

"That is mine! No one but the king drinks from it!" Alexander grunted at her.

Jamie took it anyway. It was just a sip of water after a well deserved meal.

"Untie me, Janessa! I don't want to see you dead. But if any of my subject finds us and I am in this condition, I will have no other option than to order for your execution" Alexander was serious.

"Then his highness's plan would work, wouldn't it? You would have more time with your dear Semeen" Jamie hated that she had a hint of jealous laced with acidic hatred for the poor Injured girl.

"Are...are you doing this to get my attention, Monisha? Are you vexed that I spent so much time with the poor girl?" Alexander was rather amused at the revelation.

"I couldn't care less, Alexander. You can roam Derkal with harems of women and I won't bat an eyelash"

Jamie hated that he was right and he saw through her charade. She stood up to gather wood. If she was going to leave the King of the greatest hemisphere in Derkal tied up in a forest, the least she could do was keep him warm.

She picked short dry branches that would make a good firewood and then she picked berries. She was surprised to see so many varieties she had never seen before. Jamie picked them all.

When she got back. She offered some of the berries to Alexander but he declined them.

"You shouldn't eat the weird looking fruits, they are not berries. They just look like one" Alexander warned her causally.

"Or what will happen to me?" Jamie asked the King but he simply shrugged.

Jamie ate a bunch.

"You should lie down now, before you lose control of your body from neck down, My love" Alexander had a smile.

"I am fine.....ooh!" Jamie landed on the ground with a turd. It was going to leave a nasty headache later.

"What is happening to me, Alex?" Jamie was beginning to panic.

Alexander saw she was about to panic and if she did she might choke on her own tongue and he didn't want his play toy dead...not yet. He ignored that she shorten his name.

"The fruit you ate may not be poisonous but it can paralysis even a giant ten times your size, Monisha"

"For how long?"

"Two, sometimes three hours for crybabies" Alexander answered. He had made up the crybabies part.

"But I am supposed to escape when the sun goes down but I am stuck with you, his Highness" if Jamie could feel anything from neck down she would feel the pang of pain that went through her heart. She was once again stuck.

"You should use that time to come up with a believable excuse on how I got my bruise, her Majesty. My lead knight would want to know" Alexander suggested. He was curious to see what she comes up with.

"I will tell him it was a sex thing between a Queen and her King" Jamie thought that made sense. They were newly married even though not legally and Alexander had a thing for chains.

Alexander never anticipated her ridiculous answer to his question. A sex thing? It made him laugh.

"You don't know anything about sex, Monisha" Alexander thought to point out.

"I do not but you do, King Alexander. And anyone even a dummy that was misfortuned enough to spend some time with his Highness would learn some depraved things like rope tying"

"True." Alexander agreed with her. What was the point denying it? He really was depraved.

He watched her and she seemed at peace in the forest more than she was in the castle.

"Not a lot of princesses can make a fire, hunt a bush rat and look comfortable on a forest ground"

"Not every princess grew up in the Castle" Jamie snapped at him.

What Alexander wanted to know was what really made Jamie the way she was.

"If you didn't grow up in the Castle then where did you grow up, Janessa"

"If you must know. The forest"

Jamie stared at him. She expected him to make jest of her but he didn't. He looked like he wanted to hear her story. She cleared her throat. It was a long story.
