What else are you hiding Amy?

I heard from Marisol that Amy had a business trip abroad for three days. Amy calmly left because she knew I was still in a vegetable state and wouldn't wake up anytime soon. He also surrounded the house with men.

"This is a good chance to escape from here." Mirasol tried to convince me, but I just shook my head and held her hand.

"If I run away, I'll take you with me. I'm sure Amy will never forgive you when she finds out I'm not here anymore. You're the one she'll hate."

Mirasol's face was restless, as if she wanted to say something, but she hesitated.

"What's bothering you?"

"Your father..." she replied weakly, but I heard it, even if I say that I don't care about my father anymore, I still can't deny that he still has a place in my heart and I still want to see him at least for a moment.

"I'm fine Aunt Mirasol, I'll accept it."

"You don't understand." Mirasol withdrew her hands and took a deep breath, and it made me frown.

"What's the matter?"

"You should know something about your father--" Mirasol didn't finish what she was about to say because of the footsteps we heard coming into my room. I immediately lay on the bed and pretended to be unconscious while Mirasol pretended to make my bed.

"Isn't she awake yet?" I heard a man's voice.

"I think she needs to rest for a longer period of time so that she can fully recover her strength." Mirasol replied and the man she was talking to sent her away.

I don't know the man's voice, but I sense the coldness in his voice. He is also not approachable to listen to.

I felt his palm holding my hand and placed it on his cheek.

How close are we to this man that he treated me like that?

I'm not comfortable with what he's doing, but I have to stand up for it. I don't want to lose it and drive the man away. If that happens, I'll be in trouble and maybe this will be the reason for the end of my life.

"I missed you so much. I thought I wouldn't be able to see you again, and I thought my eyes were just playing a trick on me, but you are real. You're so damn real baby."

I was horrified by what he said and almost vomited from what he was saying, but I couldn't do anything but to put up with it.

"Now that you are in my arms, I won't let anything nor anyone take you away from me anymore. You're mine, and you always know that I am yours, baby. So wake up and let's leave as soon as possible. "

I started to get really uncomfortable to what he was saying. What kind of world would I face once I open my eyes? Amy is gone, but someone did come to which I don't know who but the way he acts and says is as if he owns me.

I heard his cell phone ring, so he picked it up and answered it. I couldn't quite hear what they were talking about, but after a while he kissed me on the forehead and bid goodbye to leave. When I heard the door being closed, I immediately got up and wiped my forehead. Gross.

I held my heart that was about to come out of my chest because of the nervousness caused by fear. Whoever that man is, I'm sorry, but I will never go with you, whether I'm alive or dead.

I got up from bed and immediately went out the door. I intended to enter Amy's room because she had all the keys to the house. Since they took this house from me and Grandpa, all the keys went to her, including the key to the bedroom.

I was about to enter when I heard footsteps approaching again, so I immediately hid on the side of the cabinet not far away. I peeked to see who it was but frowned when I saw a nurse enter the room.

Why is there a nurse? Besides, why in Amy's room?

After the nurse came out, I didn't hesitate to enter and a man was lying on the bed. He looks so sick. I don't know, but my heart seems to be pinched while looking at the man lying on the bed with many machines surrounding him and many tubes inserted into his body.

Who is this? Is he like me? If so, I have to help him leave too. But how can I help him if he is in this condition?

I approached and tried to tap the man on his shoulder. "Wake up, I hope you wake up, so I can get you out of here."

After a few taps he still didn't say a word, so I just gave up. After I heaved a sigh, I was about to leave when he held my hand. So I rushed to look at the man.

"Do-don't leave," he tried to say. Thank God I fully understood what he just said.

I sat beside him and held his hand to give him comfort. It must be painful on his part. Amy is much more than a witch. This is too cruel.

"Did Amy do this to you too?" I asked, even though there was much of a possibility that he wouldn't answer, and I was right. He didn't.

"Amy locked me in here too. But worry less, I am trying to find a way to leave this place. Crazy how I used to love this place, but look at me right now? Trying to run away from the place that you once called home."

He held my hand tighter, but I ignored it and just smiled. Maybe he feels for me.

I was going to talk more, but I saw that his eyes were slowly closing, so I let him rest. When he finally fell asleep, I let go of his grip and looked around.

I noticed a picture frame that was upside down, so I went and decided to take a look at it and, because I like to put my curiosity first in life, here I am again, lost in words. My heart shattered into pieces once again, and I was unable to move my feet.
