I was really glad after hearing the news, but that voice made my heart bitter.
I looked up, my hand tightened in a fist.
He looked at me with innocent and guilty eyes. Those eyes have always melted me, but now, all I hear when I look at him is, ‘just a prostitute’.
I will never forgive him.
“Summer…” he whispered. Even my name from his mouth sounded like an abusive word. “How’s the child…?”
I couldn’t believe he asked that.
I couldn’t believe he had the audacity to ask that after everything.
My face tensed up and my fists tightened. So much anger wasn’t good for me, but I couldn't help it.

“If you don’t want me to have a miscarriage due to excessive anger, please leave” I said to him, calmly and dominately.
He was shocked, but then looked down. He looked at Hailey, and she also gave him a cold look.
