He’s even more out of breath now. I held back my smirk. “I want my own dragon chauffeur, for when I visit you guys. Is that too much to ask?” Everyone looked at Tanner with an amused look on their faces. “Gabriel, man. I have always had your back, but I think it’s time that we accept the fact that we are not as young as we once were. I was thinking the other day about how it’s time I buy you a walker.” Gabriel looked over at tanner. His face looks more serious now.
“I’m not old, Tanner.” Gabriel blurted.
“Yes, WE are.” Tanner countered with a smug look on his face. Gabriel looked over to Harper for support. Harper got a twinkle in her eye, and patted Gabriel on the back.
“Now, Tanner… He’s not old...” Harper said. “He’s just…” She bit her lip trying to hold in a giggle. “He’s just well used.” The entire room erupted in laughter… Tanner was laughing so hard he was red in the face.
