Argument

A few days later, XiaoXiao was doing well. She's back at work but Clark seems to be cold these past few days. It starts when he received a call from his assistant.

"Get me a cup of coffee no milk no sugar" she nods and leave the office.

While she was making his coffee,

"What's with him today?" she keeps thinking why he was so cold today he was cold today but a little colder.

"here's your coffee Mr, Ning" she places it in his desk. Clark takes a sip of his coffee and focuses on working again. She goes back at her desk which is in Clark's office. Her desk is replaced when the chief editor offended her. he didn't want to happen it again.

Suddenly someone knocks the door, XiaoXiao stands up and answer the door.

"Excuse me Mr. Ning is currently working today." Some tall woman with exposed Cleavage is standing in front of her. It's Summer Lee.

"Don't you know me I'm Summer Lee Back off!" Summer Lee is the daughter of the governor Tian Lee cause that their parent decided to marry the two. Summer pushes Xiao Ling causes her to trip her foot. Summer immediately runs towards Clark's desk.

"Clark fire your secretary!" Summer glares at her.

"I'm afraid I can't do that"

"why?"

"I'm sorry Ms. Lee"

"f*ck off! I'm his fiancè!

Summer suddenly slapped her face. Clark saw what she did to her. He's so angry at her but he needs to stay calm.

"Summer who are you to punish my secretary?"

"B-But... i'm your fiance! don't you miss me?"

XiaoXiao still keeps silent. She was shocked when she heard what she said. Clark has already had a fiancè.

"Out!"

"what?"

"Don't make me say it twice!"

Summer can't do anything to please him. She decided to leave his office. While summer is outside she orders her assistant to investigate Xiao Ling. She wants to know all about her. She can't just slip from what happened just now.

While she's out, Clark immediately walks toward XiaoXiao.

"Are you okay?

"I'm fine!"

He's about to touch her cheeks on where she slapped on but XiaoXiao stays away from him.

And goes back at her work.

When office hours are done, Leo Tan invited XiaoXiao to a dinner.

At the restaurant,

"Hey, XiaoXiao you okay?"

XiaoXiao still keeps silent while eating her food. She clenches her hands in the table. She still can't believe that Clark has a fiancè. Leo noticed that she was not okay. He put his hand on her clenched fist. When he touched it XiaoXiao feels kinda relieved. She thanks him for comforting her. They continue eating.

Outside, Clark was at the car watching them eating. She has no idea they are being watched. He gets annoyed when he saw Leo Tan put his hands on her. He can't control it so he goes to the restaurant.

Bang! He slams his hands on the table. The two instantly stand up with a shock.

"What do think you're doing?"

Clark asks with a smirk. All of a sudden he punch Leo tang's face. Leo tang feels off the floor. XiaoXiao was shocked at what's happening. He immediately grabs her hand.

"Hey! what? Let me go Leo you okay?"

She turns her head at Leo who is badly hurt. Clark really gets upset. He pulls her to the car.

"Ow! Hey! what are you-"

When they at the car, Clark suddenly kisses her. She bites his lips. She slapped his face with disgust. He touches his slip then smirk.

"What your problem Clark"

"What can't I just kiss my wife?"

"Wife? you literally out of your freakin' mind!"

"What about you!? You went to see Leo in my back

"So what? What about you!? You made an agreement with me! but you already have a fiancè!"

XiaoXiao finally speaks on what on her mind all day. Clark was surprised by what she said.

"So, she was upset of what happen earlier?" Clark was kinda happy.

"It was made by our parents I just see her as a sister!"

"We're you jealous my darling?"

"No! I'm not! Just don't add Leo Tang in our problems!"

"You care that much for him?"

"Yes! Cause he was my friend!"

Clark was happy of what he hears 'friend'.
