Gael tightly squeezed Isabels hand and happily smiled at her,while her mind was still slightly muddled after hearing her name.
"Congratulations Miss Ricci for you new position!"
"Congratulations!"
"Congratulitons!"
"I am sure you'll definitely make this company shine Miss Ricci!" Mr.Lee was smiling at her.
Isabel finally came back to reality and realised that everything actually was real.She brilliantly smiled and nodded,accepting the congratulations.
"Thank you!Thank you everyone for trusting me,I will most certainly not let you down!"

Isabel and Gael were going to a restaurant to have dinner to celebrate.
After having ordering they were also brought red wine to taste.When Gael took a sip,Isabel immediately stopped him.
"No,no,no,no!What do you think you're doing?"
Gaeljust looked at her confused.
"Drinking?"
"I have eyes to see that!Why are you drinking while you're still recovering?Do you wanna be like this for a few more months?The doctor said no alcohol until you fully recover!Those medications and treatments will all be for naught if you do this!"
"It's just a bit of wine Isa!I'm not drinking poision!"
"For you,that is poision!You're drinking either juice ,water or milk,choose."
"Isa,how can you celebrate with those,I'm not a 5 year old,in fact I am older than you!"
"No excuses!Drop that glass and choose!"
"Just one glass,please!I haven't tasted alcohol in months!Pretty please!" he started dragging the words and trying to make his voice cute.
"No!"
"Isaaaa!"
"No!"
"Pleaaaseee!"
"Ugh,fine,but JUST ONE glass and that's it!"
"Deal!"
After the food arrived,Gael kept eating happily,while also savouring the taste of the wine slowly.He wanted to enjoy every drop of it,since with Isabels strictness he wouldn't get a chance again.But Isabel had a good thing,even if she didn't allow him to eat or drink whatever he wanted for the sake of his recovery,she would also eat and drink the same,in front of him so she wouldn't make his tastless life harder.
Gael raised the glass for a toast and clinked it with Isabels.
"Saluti,for our new beautiful CEO Isa!" Isabel smiled and felt warm having a person that genuinely was happy and celebrated with her.
"I couldn't have done it without the support of my handsome partner!"
"Oh please,stop!You're making me blush!" Gael pretended to hide his face like he was really shy.
Isabel just laughed happily,this guy really never stopped making her smile.
After a couple of jokes,they started to discuss the actual business.
"Did you plan on really candidating for the CEO position?" Gael asked while cutting the fillet in his plate.
"Not really.I didn't think anyone would actually support me,at least not this soon.You already know how people in the business world view females."
"It just shows that times are changing though.At least now people are viewing things more objectively and not being based on old prejudices.Look,things already are for the better now."
"You're right.I can personally work with this thing now."
"When do you think the enemy will strike?"
"Basing it on the previous times,how impatient they were,I guess the nest few days."
"That's good,at least everything will be over soon when the people from the shadows step in the light."
"Yeah,we won't be fighting somebody invisible then."
"Isa,I know I am mostly useless now so I'm telling you this.Please be careful!Those people are the criminal of criminals.The fact that they dare touch a persons life,means those people completely lack common sense and empathy."
"I will!I have the people your father and grandfather suggested,protecting me in the dark."

The next day WAZ gave a press conference announcing that James Brown had been removed of his position as CEO and removed of the board of directors for incompetence and misconduct.After that they announced their new CEO,which would be a woman.Isabel stepped on the podium and signed the documents and also held a brief speech about the future with her.
The ceremony was grand since the whole process was fast and the company was facing a crisis,but Isabel didn't mind.Right now what she now cared about more was work,she didn't need those grand introductions and entrances.
It didin't take long for a hashtag to become famous and hot again next to Isabels name, #bosslady.
Her photos and speech spread and went viral making everybody enamoured with this beautiful and young CEO,who took over her adulterous husbands position.
Without trying nor knowing,Isabel had gotten her own fanbase.
"A beauty with brains,how could that guy cheat on her!"
"Intelligence *tick*.Body *tick*.Face *tick*.Money *tick*.The only explanation is that he is blind."
"So that husband of hers cheated on this beautiful and elegant woman with someone like Hannah?It's like choosing a dollar store product over a luxury limited edition!"
"I don't understand men."
With Isabel taking the position and the public being on her side,the value of WAZ stocks started to rise again after days of dropping.
Though it wasn't enough to say the crisis was overcome,but it was like a ray of sunlight in the storm.

For the next few days Isabel had made a lot of changes,putting her plan into complete motion.
She had been really strict and personally checked the whole process,soon she had gained full control and authority.It would've been harder if it were another person,but Isabel had established WAZ herself and had worked in it for years so for her it was easy.
But these few days some old business partners had been dissatisfed with James being kicked out and refused to keep cooperating with WAZ.
Some Isabel had managed to easily convince,a few had ruined their contracts,but since they weren't that major and better offers would come soon,Isabel had easily let them go.But there was one partner that WAZ had been having a lot of interactions with and they were also threatening to ruin their partnership.
Different from the ones that hadn't insisted much and just ruined their contracts and payed the anomoly,these people just kept bothering Isabel everyday and pressuring her to quit and bring James back to his position.They refused to work with anybody else.
Today these people had come again and demanded a meeting with Isabel without any prior notice and didn't have even the basic manners nor respect.
"Miss Isabel,those people are here again.They refuse to leave and are about to cause a scene downstairs."
Isabel sighed and rubbed her forehead.
"Just bring them upstairs to the meeting room.I'll be joining them after finishin the document in my hands."
