"I'll be fine.Don't cry,okay?I-I'll be fine." her voice failed to hide her emotions.

No,no,no!It can't be over!

"Isa,there must be away!Let's not give up yet!There definitely must be something we can do!And-and the mechanic said that he would try to find a solution!Don't give up okay!It's not over!You'll live a long happy life!We'll go on a trip together after this!You know,I found a beautiful place that I want you to see!We will both go there I promise!You know I never break my promises!And how can you let that ******** James go so easily!You have so many things you have to do!"Gael kept nostoppingly talking about the life she had to live. "So don't give up!You need to live!For Emma,for Oscar!For your future!For your family who is always watching over you!For me!"

Isabel's tears were sliding down her cheeks.She used one hand to wipe them,took a deep breath and said with a determined expression.

"Don't worry!My grandfather didn't raise a weak quitter!A Ricci never gives up without a fight!Gael..."

"Huh?"

"Thanks!We'll definitely go in that trip together!"

"We will!" After a second of silence Gael asked."Where are you right now?"

"I'm going up E mountain right.I'm about halfway up."

Gael stopped a bit on the side to look at the map carefully.

"I'm also headed there,judging by the path you told me you've taken you must be on the other side.It won't probably be long until I see you.Right now the only thing you can do is drive as long as you can."The mechanic could not help,who could he call for these cases the firefighters,the police?Suddenly something clicked inside Gaels brain."Isa,what if I call the police and they put that spiky thing that they use when they raid criminals,like in the movies.If your tires are popped then the car will definitely stop."

Isabel froze.Wait,that could actually work.

"Gael,you're a genius!" but suddenly she froze and said disheartened "But what if the local police station doesn't have the equipment?What if it takes time to secure one?It's not only me who is in danger,everybody infront of me is too!"

"I know,but this is our last shot let's try it.I'll call the police now."

After a while Gael called again,his voice was cheerful.

"Okay I called the police and they need about an hour to finish everything.Can you hold on for that long?"

"I-I think so!I guess it's been around 40 minutes since I started going up the mountain.With the speed my car is going it'll take..."she paused a second to finish her calculations"...about an hour and a half to go down the mountain.If nothing else happens I think I can make it."

Gael was relieved a bit.Though he could only find peace completely when he saw her healthy and well with his own eyes,he still cheerfully comforted Isabel.

"Isa don't you see?You'll make it!I can't wait to finally hug you!"

"I know!Gael,you really are my guardian angel!I....can't wait to hug you,too!"

Isabel was also relieved.This nightmare would finally be over.Her became clearer and her brain was also working better.

After a while the police called Gael again.

"Isa,the police is calling me right now,maybe they have already fixed everything,I'm also at the mountain so we'll see eachother soon."

Gael then aswered to the police.

"(Yes,officer is everything ready?)"

"(Sir,I'm sorry,but the woman must hold on for a bit more.The station we first contacted didn't have the right equipment,so we have asked another station that is a bit farther,so it'll take longer for us to prepare.We need another hour.)"

Gaels heart sank.An hour more?!Then it would be impossible.

"(How can she hold on more!It'll be less then an hour until she reaches to location!She can't hold on anymore!)"

"(Sir,we're also trying our best.It's understandable, your loved one is in a dangerous situation,but there's nothing else we can do.We have informed the local drivers to avoid the path that the driver is taking and we'll also change our roadblock location.The best you can do is keep calm and wait.)"*beep**beep*

"Isa-"

"Gael,I also thought of another way to stop the car,though I'm not really sure if it is safe or if it'll work.But the safer option is to wait though so I'm not trying it.Wow,being scared really makes you brain stop working!I'm gonna need a long vacation after this!"

"Isa!"

"Hm,what's wrong?"

"Can you hold out for a bit longer?"

Isabel had a bad feeling.

"Why?"

"The police said it'll need more time to settle everything so you'll have to hold out 2 hours not one.But you know it's okay,since the road will be empty and there won't be any other cars,they informed all the drivers to stay away from this path.You just need to be more patient and careful,okay?" Gael tried really hard to make the situation lighter than it was so Isabel wouldn't lose faith,but the silce on the other side made it harder.

"Isa?Are you there?Isa?"

"I'm here.Gael,I'll use the way I thought of to stop the car."

"You just said it wasn't too safe!Isa,I know it sounds hopeless,but you just need to hold on a while!"

"Gael,I've made up my mind!And honestly it can't get anymore dangerous than this!At least if I try this,I won't risk anybody else,but if I wait,what if somebody tries to cross the road in front of me?What if a driver that doesn't know shows up infront of me?I'll end this know with my own hands."

"Isabel don't you dare do anything stupid!Isabel!ISABEL!" the call was ended.Gael pushed the gas pedal to the end and continued the road ahead.He had to stop her somehow.He couldn't let her do something out of impulse.

"Okay,Isabel,you can do it!But first let's pass these sharp turns,then I'll try turning off the car."

After taking those U shaped turns,the road up ahead was straight,going downwards.Okay this was perfect to try.

Isabel grabbed the key and tried turning it.But the key seemed to be stuck.She tried again,but the key didn't move.She tried again and again and finally she managed to turn it.

"Great,Isabel you did it!" but different to her expectations,the car didn't immediately stop,but continued running.No!No!NO!This was her last shot.

She grabbed the steering wheel,but it didn't move it was stuck.Now,everything was really over.Isabels tears starting streaming again.Now,it was really the end.She closed her eyes and stated waiting for her unavoidable end,but after a minute she noticed something strange.Isabel opened her eyes and noticed that the images in the window wasn't moving and the upperhill infront wasn't getting closer anymore.It had...stopped?It had stopped!She finally stopped!She finally made it!

Isabels head fell on the steering wheel in exhaustion.She wanted to get out of that cursed vehicle immediately,but her legs were weak.It's okay she would let herself rest for a while.

She picked up the phone that kept ringing.After listening to Gaels yells she finally let out an exhausted voice.

"Gael.I did it."

"What?"

"I stopped the car."

"You did?"

"Yes,I did."

"You really did?

"Yes.I really did."

"You really,really,really did?"

Isabel chuckled slightly."Yes.I really,really,really did."

"That's great!"Gael laughed like fool."That's my queen!"

After a while Gael asked.

"Isa,you're that vintage car over there,right?Your grandfathers collection?"

Isabel raised her head infront and saw a standard grey car coming from the upper hill.

"That's me.You're that grey one coming,right?"

"Yes!" after a minute Gaels voice became grave"Isa get out of the car now!NOW!"

"What's wrong?"

"Get out now!"Isabels confusion ended when she heard the ominous sound of a car speeding behind her getting closer and closer.

She immediately tried removing her seatbelt to scatter away from there.But her body had taken a huge toll from the shock and wasn't obeying her completely.

Everything happened too fast.A grey car speeding on her left and a deafening crashing sound from behind the car accompanied by a bump.
