17 Chapter 16

As the Avengers made it into Tony's penthouse at the top of the tower, they had made it just in time to see Hulk bouncing Loki back and forth, smashing him into the floor multiple times.

Thor seeing what was happening to his brother cringed, it was a humiliating scene that he definitely wouldn't want to happen to himself.

It looked quite painful and he wouldn't want to be around anyone who saw that happen to him, he didn't think he could look them in the eyes again.

After Hulk finished smashing Loki, when he saw Loki not moving while his eyes were wide open. After hearing a groan come from Loki telling him he was still alive, Hulk just looked down and said "Puny God."

Hulk turned to leave so he could continue fighting but was surprised to find all his teammates staring at him with mixed expressions.

Some were chuckling while others were just shocked.

Hulk just shrugged and they all crowded around Loki, when Loki finally came too from the intense pain from being whipped around like that, he saw himself surrounded.

The beating he took from the Hulk had wiped out the mind control Thanos had put him under. Remembering what happened Loki put his hands up,

"If it's all the same, I think I'll have that drink now." Loki commented, he really could use a drink after he had come to realize that he had been manipulated.

Just as they were going to make a smart remark back, they heard a large explosion coming from the city nearby their location. Just as they turned to see what the cause was, they witnessed two bodies flying in an arch falling back down.

"Uh, did we miss one?" Thor asked aloud.

"The guy that was with Dr Selvig maybe?" Black Widow commented.

Hearing that Tony and Thor flew out quickly in the direction of the disturbances.

* A Few Minutes Before*

Billy groaned as he moved building debris off himself.

"Damn, that was way more powerful than it showed in the game." Billy commented as he saw smoke steaming from his entire body.

His body had been super heated by the thermonuclear detention. He hadn't been hurt but the explosion was enough to fire him like a bullet back into the portal into a building near Stark Tower.

As he moved the debris the first thing that caught his eyes was a dark skinned beauty with long white hair and a tight white body body suit that showed off all her curves.

"Damn, I didn't realize heaven had such beautiful angels." Billy couldn't help but voice out, but then he saw a short and stubby hairy man full of muscles coming into the room behind her.

"Nevermind, there's no way this is heaven. I'm missing 51 other beauties and definitely wouldn't have a hairy dude waiting for me in my heaven." Billy groaned a bit as he got up.

"Grrr. Listen up bub, we been looking for you f-" Just when Wolverine was explaining what they were doing there, a round object rolled between them at their feet, Billy rushed over and pushed Storm out of the immediate vicinity.

A massive explosion rocked the building and both Billy and Logan were blasted out of the building, both moved in a large arc through the air.

Logan brought out his claws and used the side of a building to slow his descent and see where the enemy was, he knew a higher vantage point was best. Letting his healing factor do it's work he quickly got a sense of the surroundings. His Weapon X training kicking in instantly, he was the ultimate hunter-killer. Once he had a scent they wouldn't be able to escape.

He quickly determined where the enemy was due to Storm, her lightning was being used to fight with a tall thin alien. He watched as Ebony Maw used his telekinesis to launch objects at Storm while using others to block her wind and lighting attacks.

The X-Men were no strangers to fighting powered individuals, especially telekinetic abilities. The X-Men had quite a few people with telekinetic and telepathic abilities.

As Logan jumped down to assist Storm, Billy appeared out of nowhere and punched Ebony Maw in the stomach causing him to fold into a U shape as he flew backwards, Billy again reappeared and kicked him back into the building he and Logan was blasted from.

"Damn what is this? National Bomb an Enemy day? I didn't get that memo, or maybe I did since I think I still released the bigger bomb." Billy said with a bit of irritation. The explosions didn't hurt but it's still humiliating to be tossed around.

Suddenly a few large sections of the building were raised in the air telekinetically and launched at Billy.

Punching the sections that came at him, he focused his punches so that all but a fist sized section would remain while the rest turned to dust, using the fist sized portions as missiles he launched them back at Ebony Maw.

Shocked that he was having so much trouble with the heroes of Earth, Ebony used his telekinesis to destroy the incoming projectiles.

Seeing the three heroes and detecting two more incoming, Ebony Maw walked out of the building just as Iron Man and Thor arrived.

"Hear me and rejoice! You have the privilege of dying at the hands of a child of Thanos. You may think this is suffering... it is salvation. The universe's scales will tip towards balance thanks to your sacrifice.." Ebony Maw declared to the group.

"I'm sorry, Earth is closed today. You better pack up, and get out of here." Tony answered back as he activated all available weapons.

"Anomaly, does this chattering animal speak for you?" Ebony asked as he looked at Billy.

"Nope, I speak just fine. But he does have a point, you are trespassing on our planet. You can tell Thanos I will be seeing him soon, I'm sure you saw what my ship is capable of. I would think you would want to warn that sugar daddy of yours. Although you dying here wouldn't affect me, although you being unable to warn daddy dearest of me coming may actually work to my advantage." Billy replied back as he thought on how he should handle the Black Order.

"He means get lost, Squidward!" Tony added in at the end.

"Holy shit, he does look like Squidward. Damn, why didn't I think of that? Such a good one. Hear that Squidward? Die or leave, only two options make your choice." Billy responded.

"Do they really have that kind of relationship?" Storm asked with an eyebrow raised.

"What do you mean? The Sugar Daddy thing?" Billy looked to the side and asked Storm. Seeing her nod Billy just shrugged.

"Sure he calls himself a child of Thanos and Thanos pays for all his stuff so yea pretty sure they qualify." Billy answered, as Tony and Thor chuckled at his comment.

"You're going to die for that. In all the time I have served Thanos, I have never failed him. When I bring him back the stones along with your corpses I shall be rewarded." Ebony Maw stated.

"Damn, I think the kid is onto something, I think we're dealing with a Sugar Baby." Tony chuckled after hearing Ebony's comment.

"I don't get what a so-called Sugar Baby is, but are we doing this or what my hammer craves to break his bones." Thor said, not sure what they were talking about, he was wanting to fight.

"I'd say that's up to the Squid." Billy responded crossing his arms over his chest. He was coordinating with Angel on one of the C712 Longsword that was aboard the Infinity. He had Cortana operate the ship high in the exoatmosphere awaiting to attack any ships coming or going. While Oracle used another smaller scout ship and recovering any alien tech than was around.

Seeing that he was outnumbered two verses one, he didn't view Wolverine, Storm or Tony as a threat. He only viewed Thor and Billy as a threat, he knew all of the heroes except for Billy.

"If you don't make a choice we will make it for you Ebony Maw." Billy was getting impatient due to not wanting to deal with SHIELD especially since the Ancient One pretty much told the world he had a ship. He didn't want Earth to know about his technology, but now it was a matter of time till Tony tries to buy his ship while Fury tries to confiscate it.

"Fine, you haven't seen the last of the Children of Thanos. I shall enjoy watching my fellow brothers and sister's take all that you love." Ebony Maw retorted then pressed on his wrist and jumped high into the air.

Suddenly a small Necrocraft appeared allowing Ebony Maw to enter. The ship quickly took off.

"Did we really just let him leave?" Storm asked, shocked by how quickly he left.

"Ha, who said he would make it past Mars?" Billy said as he went to leave.

Suddenly two hands grabbed him, one on each shoulder. One was Logan, the other was Tony.

"You ain't goin anywhere, bub." Logan reiterated, he had orders from Charles to bring him back.

"I just wanna have a look at that ship of yours, plus the team is getting together for some Victory Shwarma and seeing as you helped I'll allow you to join the team." Tony added in.

"What the hell is Shwarma? It doesn't even sound appetizing at all. Can we do a rain check?" Billy asked.

Just then a few Quinjets showed up and SHIELD agents poured out.

"That's really low of you, see if I don't throw you under the bus too old hag. See how you like SHIELD banging on your doorstep." Billy said as he looked toward the sanctums direction.

"Fine shwarma but that's it, I got a galaxy to explore. No way in hell am I staying on this rock longer than I have to." Billy finally said as he gave up his escape, but decided to add some trouble for the Ancient One.

"Why such a rush?" Tony asked wondering why he wanted to leave so quick.

"I didn't plan to come back yet, theres this old witch that lives on this planet. I didn't plan on coming back till she kick the bucket which shouldn't be too long. The longer I'm on this planet the more she going to make me do stuff." Billy explained, making sure to reiterate how old she was.

"Aye, I know of who you speak. Even my father is hesitant to deal with that woman. Hath the witch put a control spell of some kind on you? My mother should be able to get her to remove it, she did study under her for a long time." Thor finally understanding who Billy was speaking of

This confused the others since they had no idea what they were talking about.

"No control spell, but may as well be. She likes to drop me into situations out of my control for me to handle. I may be a demigod but that dont mean I should take care of everything. You know what I mean, dontcha my Norse friend." Billy said as he clapped Thor on the back.

"Oh, and which are you?" Thor asked surprised that the man was similar to him.

"I'm on the Greek side, you know power of Shazam and all." Just as Billy finished he was struck by lightning and reverted to his younger self.

"Shit, thats so lame.... Stupidest weakness ever! No wonder Batson got tricked so easy." Billy stated incredulously, everyone but Tony was shocked by his transformation. He watched Billy transform from atop the Infinity.
