Jacyn was speechless as he looked at the haversack and the list of items inside of it. Part of the information given was that a player's personal inventory was limited to what they could wear and thirty slots in their inventory space. The only way to expand their inventory was with special bags that could increase their carrying space, and precisely what any player needed to expand their inventory was sent to him.
Shaking his head, he removed the items one at a time, looking over each one. The cloak and mask he would need to get identified to be able to use them, but after looking at the Grimoire and the runestones, he gives a slight smile as he realizes that they're already able to be used. As he was about to use one, his sister whispers in his ear. "They're here Cyn. Apparently they've already found ten new recruits."
Giving a nod, he gets out of his seat and walks over to the balcony railing and watches everyone file in. Once the officers are up on the balcony and everyone else is say down he grins as he looks out at the various races that were chosen by his guild's members.
"Alright, so I know everyone wants to get out and start to quest and gain levels, so we'll make this quick. First of all, I'd like to welcome our newest members. Second of all, if everyone looks at your quest log, there are two early quests for us already. After this meeting, I'll be going to the Mercenaries' Union to get us registered. While that's going on, I want everyone to go register with the Adventurer's guild."
Glancing back at the guild officers behind him he gives them a grin, causing them to look back at him quizzically then glance at each other. 'Uh oh, what's he up to now.'
"Third, for those that don't know, we're going to be opening recruitment once we find a location to use as a base of operations."
As he says this part he hears a cough from the direction of the door. Glancing over, Jacyn sees the dwarves from upstairs, lead by the bartender. "Yerselves can use me place get fer yer base, all I ask is fer jobs fer my boys." Glancing at the rest of the group, he raises an eyebrow add he waits for their opinions. Setting the nods from the rest, he turns back to look at the dwarves. "We can do that, but we'll need facilities first."
The dwarves let it a roar of laughter as one practically stomps across the room and presses on a stone block causing a rumble to be heard through the room before a ten foot by ten foot section settles into the ground revealing a large cavern with doors, storage areas, and even a central keep area. "Ye nae need to get yerselves facilities fer tha company, Captain. Yerselves just need to provide the materials fer crafting, and any of yer crafters can work here with me boys."
"Well, I guess that solves those issues, the meeting is dismissed, go get registered with the Adventurer's Guild and start hunting. Remember, work in groups and don't leave out the new members." Turning to look at his officers, he grins as he looks at them. "Before you go, I want to share a quest with you. This quest made me think of each of you because we've all been together since the game, Runeworld."
Opening his party menu, he invites all nine of them before changing to the quest log and sharing the quest with them. Turning to walk down the stairs to head over to the group of dwarves, he chuckles as he hears their reactions.
"Dude, what the..."
"A unique Legendary Quest already?"
"And it's multiple parts!!!"
Suddenly in the party chat a voice speaks up. "Dude, Cyn, where it says Runeholt, does this mean like Runeworld Runeholt, or different?"
J: "I don't know, but it should be fun to figure out, right?"
"Does this mean you'll be reforming the Runeguard?"
J: "Yes, if you can get any of the old members to come back, that would be perfect, but also watch the rest of our guild members for prospects."
As he walks towards the dwarves suddenly a voice can be heard from the entrance behind him. "Hey, Cyndrex, me lad." Turning to look back, a group of fifteen dwarves in heavy mountain plate armor with weapons on their backs can be seen walking towards him, the voice having come from the leader, a female dwarf with flame red hair. From behind him, a low dwarven voice grumbles, "By the lost stones, what's she doin' 'ere."
Reaching Cyn, she grins up at him, "Give me a hug, lad." Cyn's eyes go wide, but he's unable to react as he's pulled in to a back cracking hug. "Yer da sends his best and sent us three fists to help any way ya need." Looking around, she notices the other dwarves, in particular one certain dwarf. "Ah, by Morin's beard, ye thought ye could hide from me." Cyn looks from one dwarf to the other. "You know each other?"
"Aye, he's me da." Giving a laugh, she turns back to Jacyn. "I'll talk to me da later, but the dragon asked meself ta give yerself this crystal and to tell yerself to contact her, that she be seein' strange movements regarding yerself or somethin' like that." Removing the formidable gauntlets, she reaches into the pouch at her side and pulls out a silk bag.
Taking the bag and crystal, he stops it into the satchel then heads out of the cavernous chamber and the building.
As he steps outside he suddenly stops as he sees the number of people outside the door to the tavern. "For all those that are here to join Boundless, recruiting will start in half an hour. I want two lines, in one will be crafters, the other will be everyone else. If you are accepted, you will be reserve members for the company, but there are ways to fix that, the biggest is through contribution."
He had already started walking away when he suddenly stopped to glance back. "As a note, if you have ties to them, we'll know."
Hmm, two different organizations are getting them selves up and running, trying to gain a foothold in their starting areas. Makes you wonder who else is doing the same, doesn't it.
