Shattered Autonomy

Hey, everyone! Author here. I hope you all give this story a chance as it will be a long one. I have taken a year or so to write out the outline to it and am now putting it down onto virtual paper. What does this mean exactly? I have this nearly all planned out... Yes, to the last word of the final chapter. Even though I have left plenty of room for changes along the way, nothing is ever set in stone. With that said, how exactly would I describe Shattered Autonomy? It encompasses several genres, but what it focuses mainly on is Psychological Action, Thriller, and Horror (more so in just body horror and creepy imagery rather than shock). The MC is changing at points with perspective shifts, but for the most part, in Shattered Autonomy, it will be Kage Tesler (the one described from the blurb in the about section). Although it begins at a "slow burn" esque format, I promise that events unfold and ramp up as things progress. Furthermore, this story will focus heavily on the characters and their development. >The MC will never have an "easy time" >The MC is not going to be generic or cliché >There will be love interests >Every major fight results in consequences for those involved Lastly, I ask to be kept humbled. Make your complaints known, comment, email me, do whatever you think of in order to keep me in check furthering my ability as a writer... Well, not anything, but you get the gist. Just made an account to say that this is pretty good. The worldbuilding is detailed there are no grammar mistakes. Hopefully it gets more popular because I am into how the story is picking up.

So far with what I assume to be the first arc completed. It is very good, like extremely well done where this should be a novel published in stores. Although the beginning is slow especially with how long those first 5 chapters are and the world building, but at a certain point the mc does something that leaves you very intrigued. The characters all seem to have some sinister edge to them that is being explored throughout the story and there are countless surreal moments I haven't seen anyone attempt before. I would also like to point out that the tag: dark does not do justice to how utterly brutal this is. It gets seriously demented at points in which it feels like a written version of a Junji Ito comic mixed with the superpowers you may see in My Hero Academia. Well done author and I hope others come to read this.
