Shatter the Bad Ending!

[Restore The Crown] This was the novel that I was tasked to review as a contestant for our yearly webnovel event and as someone who had to probably read hundreds of novels by now. It was utter garbage, it was full of overdone tropes and cliches that you could have seen from a mile away. A bland and mary sue protagonist ✓ A list of heroines who fall in love and become obsessed with the protagonist instantly ✓ A myriad of villains who have no other personality other than to hate and try to kill the protagonist ✓ They were all there. Except for the surprisingly catchy title, there was no other positive thing about this novel. But was pissed me off the most was the ending. With no build-up and seemingly out of nowhere, most of the heroines were killed and the world that they lived in became hell on earth. It was literally revealed in a couple of chapters and was clearly done just to shock the readers. Honestly, I wish I could restore the time I wasted reading this novel. But as I said my criticism to the author. The f*cker shot me in the head! (I proofread my chapters by myself, sadly I am only human, so if you find any mistakes, kindly point them out and I will fix them as soon as possible) (This is my first attempt at writing novels, to those who keep on reading despite the occasional mistakes here and there, I thank you from the bottom of my heart and I will promise to be a better author, anyways have a nice day and please never build galeforce on twitch, if you do, you don't deserve 8 hours of sleep, that is all, thank you)

No Rest (2)

After finally getting back to my apartment, I immediately lay my beaten body on the bed.

I check my bracelet and was delighted to see the 85k hard-earned bells on my account.

"Today was a good day," I utter to myself.

But I know that I still have more to do.

The current date was August 4, meaning I still have a month before the academy's classes officially start.

The problem is, I would be sure to gather a lot of attention by using a gun, and not only that one of the heroines would surely spark an interest in me as in the novel she was the only student that wielded that forgotten piece of metal.

And, oh boy, there is an off chance that attention would turn into an obsession.

With that in mind, I would need to find another item, an item that would grant me the ability to use swords to an extent.

Which means, time to cuck one of the villains once again.

With another plan forming in my head, I slept with a smile on my face.

*****

The rumbling glass and the buildings that pass by at such speed.

As I enjoy the comfort of the soft chair, I try my best to remember the novel.

[As the dim alluring light of the moon covers the skies, not a single soul cared to notice. Overshadowed by the gleaming city, its faint radiance lay to waste. Yet a man who was resting on a balcony had his eyes set upon it, under the city that never sleeps, he was the only person who admired the hidden elegance up the dark ether.

"Have you found it?" The man spoke with nobility and grace.

A young woman was standing behind him, she wore a black office suit her face covered by the bangs of her hair, and soon she opened her mouth.

"Yes, young master, with the information we got, the vial is currently stored at Arby's Auction with nobody knowing its true value,"

"Kill whoever you have to kill, spend all the bells I gave you, it doesn't matter how, get it all costs,"

"Understood sire,"

The young woman left the balcony, as quietly and quickly as a sudden breeze.

The man's gaze never left the moon, on his right hand was a glass cup with the stench of wine.

"I?, Nathan Heroux? Beaten by a f*cking commoner?,"

His voice of grace and nobility was no more.

"Unbelievable, intolerable, UNACCEPTABLE,"

The glass cup in his hand was shattered into pieces causing his hand to bleed.

He merely shook off the pain as right now, in his mind and in his body, a single emotion was running rampant, unchained and unshaken.

It was Pure Hatred.]

After being beaten by the main protagonist, Nathan would find that vial and break into A-Rank on his sword aura.

But even after spending almost a million bells to find it, and killing all the innocent souls along the way.

He would still lose mercilessly and disgracefully.

What a waste.

Well thanks to the novel, I wouldn't need to spend a million bells to get it.

Arby's Auction is located in the City of Mennanster.

A city known for its amazing barbeques, after getting that vial I'm excited to try them.

After getting off the train, I immediately made my way to Arby's Auction.

Thanks to the map on my bracelet, there was not a single chance I would be lost.

As I perused and occasionally admired the beauty of a city with such advanced technology.

It took a bit longer to reach my destination.

But after a bit of walking, I found it.

A neon sign could be seen from the building.

There were two muscular guards at the entrance and a long line of people eager to get in.

All of the people were wearing their own masks in order to protect their identities.

Seeing that, I got my metal mask inside of my bracelet and joined them.

It took about an hour, a full hour just for me to get to the front of the line.

But when I arrived at the entrance.

"That bracelet, this kid is from the academy, should we let him in?" One of the guards asked his fellow mate.

Is this f*cker about to not let me in after waiting a full hour?

Behind the mask, the nerves on my face were bulging.

"Let him in, he has bells and we need them,"

The guard then nod at me and opened the door.

Thankfully, the other guard convinced him and let me in,

Inside the building, I made my way over to the reception desk.

My eyes shuddered a bit as I was reminded again of the standards of looks this novel had.

A blonde beauty greeted me as I approached the desk.

I composed myself and opened my mouth.

"Where will the auction start?" But instead of my normal voice, a deep and dark sound came from the mask.

I was a bit taken aback but I shook it off.

It was probably because of the mask.

The blonde girl was also shocked but only for a minute as she composed herself just as quickly.

"Ri-right this way, sir,"

****

"Strange,"

"Why?" The muscular man asked his fellow guard.

"My hands can't seem to stop shaking?"

"You should probably stop drinking way too much coffee then,"

"But, I haven't even been drinking that much,"

"Oh, shut up, I don't know alright? Just focus on the job"

The man then composed himself and continued to stand watch, yet no matter what he did his veiny hands could not stop shivering.
