Healed From Poison

Returning to her courtyard, Chujiu wasted no time in beginning her treatment. Each day, she diligently prepared the herbs as needed, gradually noticing improvements in her condition. After digesting everything, she formulated a treatment plan with available herbs in this world and sent the list to Master Lin and Old Master Lin.

After all her brothers left the courtyard, Chujiu sat on a chair, she is determined to protect their brothers and family. She is completely moved by their pure love.

No one has ever protected her like her now Lin family, especially those brothers of hers. They are truly little puppies. It seems they are too simple minded and easy to bully.

She has to become strong and protect them.

The little puppies who do not know that they became puppies in the eyes of their sister are on high spirits and sped towards their destinations.

As days turned into weeks, Chujiu's strength began to return. The poison's grip on her weakened, thanks to the potent combination of the herbs and her unwavering determination. 

The poison in her body was almost healed completely. It took almost 5 weeks to wash out all the poison and its remnants. The last few days were quite painful as her meridians are washed and started opening up. She gritted her teeth and bore the pain, not a single sound is made. Cai Wei and Cai Meiying silently sobbed looking at their young miss pain and developed admiration for her.

Though occasionally her brothers and other members of the family visited her, but she managed to hide and undergo the treatment.

Master Lin assigned various tasks to keep the Lin family members busy so as to not disturb Little jiu. So everything went smooth and fine without any disturbance. And nobody including her brothers knew that their sister has undergone a huge transformation.

Chujiu came out from her bath, today is the last herbal dip. She completed it successfully and took a bath.

The refreshed feeling gave her indescribable bliss and joy. Finally, she got rid of the poison.

Now she has to ask for guidance from grandfather Lin, after all she never cultivated and did not know how to awaken spiritual root. "Come in," a familiar voice echoed from within. Pushing the door open, Chujiu stepped into the dimly lit study, where her grandfather, Lin Jianhong, sat behind a large mahogany desk covered with scrolls and ancient texts.

"Ah, Little jiu," her grandfather greeted, his eyes brightening upon seeing her. "How are you feeling, my child?"

With a beaming smile, Chujiu replied, "Grandfather, I have good news. The poison has been completely eliminated from my system, thanks to the herbs and treatments from our family's medical centre."

A look of relief washed over Lin Jianhong's face as he exclaimed, "That's excellent news indeed! I was deeply concerned for you."

Finally his granddaughter is free from poison, his eyes got wet unknowingly. He is really relieved.

Leaning forward, Chujiu hesitated momentarily before saying, "Grandfather, I wish to explore cultivation methods to awaken my spiritual root. I've been researching, and I believe I can awaken my spiritual root with your guidance."

Lin Jianhong regarded her thoughtfully, his fingers steepled beneath his chin. "Cultivation is a path fraught with challenges, Chujiu. It requires dedication, perseverance, and an understanding of ancient practices."

He learned quite a lot of information about the modern world from little jiu and knew that there is nothing called spiritual energy and cultivation. But they have something called technology and became fascinated learning how some so called gadgets work and does some miraculous things.
