It tastes like you

'I'd run. I'd run if I were you'

"Maybe that's the difference between me and you." I sighed.

"No Suka, I've seen the world. It's a cruel place. People aren't as you see them to be."

"And Sinister?"

Nadia stopped and turned to me, she didn't homd that antagonist look again. There was something else in her expression that I was t able to read. Before she could say another word, Maria interrupted.

"Mr Salvaltore asked for tea."

"Sinister?" Nadia asked.

"Yes."

"Then make it." Sue sighed as she continued to chop the vegetable.

Maria went at the other side of the kitchen counter, preparing the tea. Walking up to her, I watched as she made the drink.

"Is this the same you made for me yesterday?"

"Yes miss Grey." Maria smiled.

"It was bitter," I confessed, "Does he like it like that?"

"He hasn't made any complaint against it."

"Well, maybe I can fix it?" I smiles collecting some other ingredients to add to it.

Maria stood there in a horrid horror, "If he doesn't like it, he won't be happy."

"Don't worry, I'll take the blame. What's the worse he can do to me?"

A horrible laughter could be heard from the other side where Nadia was, "Haha honey you don't wanna know."

With a pinch of the ingredient one, a dash of ingredient two and a few drop of ingredient three to the tea, I smiled tasting it.

Not bad for someone who can't cook. Not bad at all.

Maria hesitantly took a sip and by her facial expression I was assured that it was more better than the original recipe.

"What if he doesn't like the new taste?" Maria asked in concern.

"I'll give him." I smiled pouring the tea into a cup and neatly placed it in a tray, " where is he?"

"In the office, second room on the third floor."

" sure you want to do that Suka?" Nadia asked.

"Yes."

Upon arriving at the third floor, it was t very difficult finding the room. With a soft knock on the door I heard a nonchalant voice let me in.

Sinister sat at a large leathered chair behind a massive porch desk in the middle of this completely breathtaking office room. He entire back wall of the room as a fitted indie which gave view of the endless green estate he owned . He hadn't noticed me as he was deeply engrossed in some sort of paperwork. Maybe it was his murder list or something? Santa's being naughty this year.

I sat on the chair opposite him and his eyes suddenly jumped to mine.

"What are you doing here?" He asked, perplexed.

"Tea..?" I smiled seeeyly placing it in front of him.

"What happened to Maria?"

"I don't know…." I have a stupid grin again as I rested on the chair.

Nonchalantly lifting the cup, he took a sip while writing. I tired to find any difference in his expression but there was none. He took another sip and still nothing. He was such a rock. A very beautiful rock. Well, that was a complete waste of time. I was about to leave when I heard a soft strange sound from him.

"It's tasting… Different." He said.

I blinked completely unsure if what he was saying. Was that some sort of…..Compliment?

My my!

"What?"

"This tea you made for me, it's quite tasty." He raised his eyes on me, "you should make this more often."

"How did you know I made it?"

"I just know. Maria wouldn't dare to change the recipe."

"It could be someone else." I smiled.

"It can't."

"And why is that?"

"Because," He leaned closer to me from the other side," It tastes like you."

Huh..?

"It's how I imagine you to taste Angel." He took another sip, "There's a sweet craving to it."

Oh dear Lords!

"Make this more often Angel, I like it."

For some reason now, I feel filled with content.

"Well," I gave a short sweet laugh, "I usually charge."

"And your cost is?" He raised his brows at me.

"A smile."

"What?" He smirked.

"I like it when you smile, it makes me believe you're human and not some evil dictator."

"I assure you Miss Grey."

"Sinister, how long would it take to find my brother? Please for God sake, please tell me."

"You only asked for a smile." He glared.

"Sinister Please. I'm serious." Now I was more desperate.

"I already told you that I won't hurt him."

"I know bu-"

"It's funny how things work in my favour, don't you think Miss Grey."

"What do you mean?"

"I'm still working on finding that brother of yours." He looked away and clenched his fist, "There's a function tonight and Iexpect you to be with me."

"A function?"

"Just be ready by eight."

I walked out the room completely perplexed.

Did he just ask me out?

Unaware of where I was walking, I accidentally stumbled on the rug and bumped into someone. Icy grey eyes menaced towards me and I could also feel the antagonism penetrating from the man in front of me.

"I'm sorry, I hadn't meant to bump into you like that." I sincerely apologized.

The man glared at me and I noticed how his frown tightened with detest. He was the same man Sinister held by the shirt. Mikhail I believe his name was.

His hands suddenly grabbed my chin, tilting it threatening towards him, "Piccola puttanaget, if you ever get in my way again, I will not hesitate to rip your organs out and sell them in the black market." He seethed.

Someone is feeling grumpy today.

My eyes widened at his remark. His tone was different from Sinister's. Something about this man was cold-blooded and his gaze was murderously serious.

"Mikhail," another voice interrupted and a figure stepped between us, causing him to release his grip on me. "Let's not get the young lady involved like that. After all, she is a guest here."
