Some Advice

Zach reflexively took a revolver out of his jacket and pointed it forward.

bang!

Gunshots echoed in the dark night. The bullet pushed Astral Vilion backwards.

Zach glanced back slightly before turning back to Vilion's astral. Waiting quietly.

As Astral Vilion regained its balance, it moved quickly towards Zach, its sharp claws making Zach very careful.

Zach dodged Astral Vilion's claw attack, though with some difficulty. Vilion's Astral Speed knocked Zach off balance several times.

This was the fighting ability of a gatekeeper. Thanks to rigorous training and hands-on experience in the field. This time is different from before, now Zach has preparations though not completely.

Compared to before he died without being able to know what happened, now he could at least try to fight back. "His claws and grip are very strong, I can't be hit by that again. Previously I couldn't do anything when I was hit by his grip" Zach backed away after dodging several attacks.

Astral Vilion lunged forward again, Zach ducked and threw himself to the ground while shooting upwards. bang!

Astral Vilion was hit and could only make him retreat. No more effect.

Zach rolled over and got back up, positioning himself and checking for bullets. "Three bullets left! My ammo is in the carriage..." Zach regretted not taking his ammo with him.

Astral Vilion turned his attention, in another direction. Zach turned his head and saw Leonard who was holding two revolvers standing while trembling looking at Astral Vilion.

"No!" Zach gritted his teeth as he saw Astral Vilion lunge swiftly at Leonard.

Bang Bang bang!

The two shots launched by Zach missed, and when the third shot hit Astral Vilion's leg. Due to the unstable fulcrum, Astral Vilion fell down and ended up not moving for quite some time.

Zach ran to the frightened Leonard. "Mr. Francis, we have to go now!" Zach tried to resuscitate a shaking Leonard.

Staggering, Zach led Leonard to the carriage where he was.

"Dad, Zach, what's wrong?" Emma got down from the horse carriage because she felt panicked. She had been warned by Leonard about bandits, so Emma was pretty sure that Zach and his father would be able to solve the problem.

"Emma get in the carriage!" Zach runs with Leonard.

But for a moment Leonard fell. Zach turned and saw Leonard's severed leg. "What!?" Zach stopped running and turned around in the direction Astral Vilion was before.

The black figure with red eyes moved on all fours like a beast on the prowl. His red eyes were brighter and burned like fire, the black smoke on his body seemed to give off a nostril-piercing stench.

"He's getting stronger!?" Zach panicked, then remembered that in the previous incident, Astral Vilion even massacred tens of gatekeepers and policemen simultaneously.

Zach pointed his revolver forward, and Astral Vilion dashed off on all fours. Zach pulled the trigger of his revolver and all he heard was a click.

Zach widened his eyes and opened his mouth slightly. "I'm out of bullets!"

Astral Vilion jumps right in front of Zach and pounces on Zach. Zach held down with his revolver, he defended as if he were fighting a very strong lion or tiger.

Emma who saw that scene reflexively relaxed her body, knelt on the ground and covered her mouth in fear. At that moment, gunshots rang out. Astral Vilion flinched and looked back as if a fly had been bothering him.

Leonard lay on his stomach aiming his revolver at Astral Vilion, and fired once more, but the bullet had no effect. Astral Vilion turned and pounced on Leonard.

Zach, who was almost half of his body bleeding from the claws and bites from the Astral Vilion, slowly moved and looked at his wife beside the carriage.

Tion was seen trying to wake Emma up from her shock. Behind the horse-drawn carriage Emma was riding in, Billy had turned the carriage around. As if waiting for Tion to get Emma into the carriage.

Zach's breath started to run thin, when he saw Astral Vilion pounce on Tion from behind and destroy his body.

"Emma..." Zach couldn't move and fell to the ground, looking at his wife who was brutally killed.

And a few seconds later Zach closed his eyes and lost his consciousness. And his last blink made him stand trembling in front of the brown door while looking at the sign with the words "Dellon Daxter"

"I said come in" Dellon's voice was heard.

Zach opened the door reflexively, he was still shaking. The sensation of having his body ripped apart still lingered in his mind. The moment when his family was massacred made his head buzz again.

"Zach?" Dellon leaned back and looked at Zach with curious.

"I'm back..." Zach muttered as his head returned to normal.

"Is there any problem?" Dellon asked again after seeing Zach just silent.

Zach stared at his captain for a few moments, his body going limp from the horrible sensation. After a while Zach sat down on a chair took off his hat and sighed.

He smiled then looked at Dellon "Captain, I need some tips from you. You know, you've been married for over 18 years and are still romantic, is there some kind of trick or advice for me?"

Dellon was silent for a few seconds and then laughed. His laughter echoed in the room for a few seconds "You've come to the right person"

Dellon looked at his watch and said quickly, "Married life is quite tiring, like riding a roller coaster. But if you overcome all the obstacles without complaining then victory is yours."

"In essence, there are three things you need to pay attention to. First, you must have a big heart, you know a woman's heart is very fragile. So to stabilize it we need to give great love, of course including love in bed"

Dellon raised his finger and showed the number two as he said, "Secondly, Assertiveness and strength. Simply put women like men's assertiveness, as well as strength, I don't doubt that from you, a gatekeeper is beyond that category, but remember, decisiveness doesn't mean you can do whatever you want. Then dellon leaned back in his chair saying, "And the last one is economy" Dellon paused for a moment.

"Well, maybe this is your wife as an exception. I know that a gatekeeper's income is quite large, but it's very unusual for someone from a distinguished family to choose a gatekeeper as a partner, perhaps your wife is something special".

"Well, in essence affection, firmness and ability, as well as economic well-being are the pillars of a man to maintain a marriage"

Zach rubbed his hat while saying "Thanks captain, I'll remember that" Zach looked down a little.

After that, the conversation didn't last long until there was a knock on the door. Dellon tilted his head and said, "Come in"

The door opened slowly, a black-haired male figure looked through the door, it was Ben.

"Zach... Oh, do you consult?" Ben came in and smiled strangely at Zach.

Zach smiled then stood up and put on his hat. "Captain, once again I thank you. Looks like you have a meeting. I'll just go home"

Zach said goodbye to Dellon, Ben, Kyle and even Vilion.
