Not A Dream...

Crack!

A cracking sound from Zach's skull is heard along with Zach who flinched and realized he was in church. His ears buzzed and reflexively covered both sides of his ears. Headaches keep Zach from thinking straight.

Emma, who was beside him, was shocked, she hugged Zach's head while trying to calm him down, "I knew it, you're sick! You have to go to the hospital as soon as possible" Emma was very worried.

Leonard, who was on Zach's right, was very confused when he saw Zach, who suddenly held his head and looked down. Leonard stood up and checked Zach's condition. The whole church stopped its activities for a moment. They all focused on Zach who was about to lose consciousness.

"Father!" Emma looked at her father while holding Zach's cold hand.

"Pick him up, take him to the hospital!" Diana said frantically.

A moment later, the throbbing pain in Zach's head started to fade. Leaving a strange sensation running through his head. Zach breathed slowly steadying his body.

"Zach? are you all right?" Emma looked very worried, her eyes filled with tears as she held Zach's hand tightly.

Zach opened his eyes slowly, his wife was beside him looking worried at him, on a different side Leonard stood and checked on Zach's condition.

Zach looked around slowly. The corridor of the room is wide, the long chair is divided into two columns and several rows. People looked at him as if pity and worry.

The chandelier above the ceiling of the room spun slowly. Zach corrected his position and sat up and took a breath. "Emma, Mr and Mrs Franciss, can we go home now?" Zach looked down.

Leonard put on his hat and stood up "Yes, fine" Leonard agreed seeing Zach's condition. After all, he didn't really believe in God that he had to finish praying.

"Are you okay?" Violet stood in front of Zach holding his knees and staring with teary eyes.

Zach smiled then said quietly "Yeah, it's just a little dizzy" Zach also wore a tall round hat.

To be seen by the whole church is not a comfortable thing. Although the priest was very nice and gave Zach a glass of water. After sipping a glass of water, they apologized for the commotion and headed out of the church.

The five of them got on the horse-drawn carriage, and with the help of Billy, one of the servants of the Franciss family who was driving the horse-drawn carriage, they finally set off.

"We go to the hospital first, you have to check your condition" Leonard looked seriously at Zach.

"No need, Mr Franciss. It's just a tired effect" Zach said flashing a smile.

Leonard and Diana looked at each other "Aren't you letting your Husband rest?" Leonard sighed looking at Emma.

Zach tilted his head while saying "No, no. I mean maybe because of the hot weather today, I get tired quickly"

"A gatekeeper tired from the hot sun?" Leonard shook his head.

After a while, they arrived at the house where her in-laws lived. A fairly large house with a large yard. Leonard got off the stagecoach with Diana and Violet.

"Rest inside" Diana told him.

But Zach refused and apologized for that. "I'm going straight home" Zach said.

Hearing that, Leonard held his hat "Billy, take them to their house" Leonard said loud enough for Billy to hear from the front.

"OK Mr Francis"

...

"What the hell is that? We should just go to the hospital" Emma said, the corners of her lips trembling with worry.

"I told you it's okay, I'm fine" Zach tried to calm his wife.

"It's only been two days, I don't want to be a widow so soon" Emma cried holding Zach's arm tightly and leaning against him.

"Haha, don't think too much. I haven't even enjoyed you yet, why do you think I'm going to die?" Zach teased, Zach's smile looked so obvious it was fake.

However, Emma paid no attention to him. Emma pinched Zach's waist gently while glancing at Billy who was in front.

Zach laughed.

...

After a while, they arrived at their house. A simple house, with a romantic feel. Zach came downstairs and thanked Blilly before walking into the house.

Inside the house, Zach immediately sat down on a wooden chair, while Emma got him a glass of water.

Zach stared at his wife's back as he walked into the kitchen, the corners of his lips twitching and trembling slightly. Zach raised his hand and stared at his palm for a moment. "It wasn't a dream" Zach said in a small tone while narrowing his eyes as he remembered the sensation of having his head crushed.

"I went back to the day before" Zach mutters.

"Vilion becomes astral, Or Astral becomes Vilion?" Zach thought hard.

"How to prevent that terrible incident?" Zach was confused. Until Emma came with a glass of water.

"Thanks" Zach took the glass and drank it.

The sun was not yet in the middle, the terrible incident happened the day after. Zach sat on a wooden chair closing his eyes and trying to calm down.

"Reporting to the captain?" Zach thought of an idea. But it was something I could barely even believe, how to convince Dellon of what he saw. After all even if Dellon believes it, what can they do about it?

Many things came to mind.

"Resting in a chair will only make you more tired, go to your room and sleep." Emma said with a stern face.

A moment later, Zach opened his eyes and stood up from his seat. He grabbed his halved hat and put it on. "I have to go somewhere, I'll be back" Zach walked slowly.

Emma stood up and held Zach's hand. "No, you should rest"

"I'll be back, I have important business to finish" Zach smiled.

Seeing her husband's smile, Emma couldn't refuse. Emma started noticing Zach's strange behavior lately. She took a deep breath and said with concern, "Hurry back"

Zach nodded and left the house.

...

Gatekeeper's office.

Zach entered without wearing his special jacket and only with his identification card as a gatekeeper. The building was three stories high, and as Zach entered, a winding staircase appeared in front of him. On the edge of the room there are several doors with nameplates stuck.

Zach stepped inside and was greeted by another gatekeeper. After returning the greeting, Zach went up to the second floor and stood at the door of the room with Dellon Daxter's nameplate stuck on it.

Zach held his hat and took a deep breath. He knocked twice, after a while, Dellon's voice came from inside.

"come in"

Zach opened the door to the room. Inside the room feels a little claustrophobic. Cardboard boxes were lined up in the corner of the room with various kinds of suits piled up. There was a desk in front and Dellon who was sitting seriously staring at the piece of paper in front of him.

Dellon massaged his forehead and leaned back casually, he looked at Zach who entered the room.

"This is your day off, What business do you have here?" Dellon said.

Zach closed the door and took off his hat. "Excuse me captain, I want to discuss something with you"

Dellon chuckled as he replied jokingly, "Heh, would you like some wedding tips? My wife and I have been married for 18 years, and we are still romantic. You are looking for the right person" Dellon smiled proudly.

But that changed when Dellon saw Zach's serious expression. Dellon took a deep breath then said again, "Say it"

Zach was confused at first, where to start. He searched for the right words to clarify what he was going to say to Dellon.

After a few seconds of silence, Zach started Asking "Captain, do you believe that the Astral is not yet extinct?"
