Eyes

I have not seen, haven't since that day five years ago, shall have no mercy to her ever again.

It was the dead of night and I wondered about having no place to go, I heard a cry, a very little cry. I ran in quick speed and heard his voice.

"Help! Help! Guards help!"

I never knew who this person was, but I took my sword and swing at all, killing them in an instant.

Blood splattered all over my clothes, I turned to him, "Your safe now."

I didn't hear anything for a moment, "Thank you. Come with me to the palace, the Royal father surely will reward you."

I blinked, "Alright."

I had agreed for the reason was..there was no reason to refuse, I hadn't told him that I was blind.

I followed the sound of his footsteps hearing them echo, slowly as it started to trickle, slightly.

"You'll get cold," I spoke softly.

I heard his footsteps stop, "My coat fluffy enough."

His steps echoed again as I followed slowly behind him.

This motion counties for a good five minutes till, we somewhere else, hadn't a clue, a single clue.

"We're here, don't do anything dumb alright? I wouldn't want my brothers to condemn you to death." He spoke softly.

I nodded, softly smiling for a single moment.

He had walked farther as I followed, keeping silent, till a loud voice echoing "My prince has returned!"

I slightly sighed, softly spoke "Greetings to your majesty."

I heard the murmurs, softly among the place as it echoed through all of the space.

"Who has his highness bring on this rainy day?" A cold gentle voice spoke.

"A swordsman, from far away." His cold voice echoed.

Again those around us muttered, but much softer, I knew they thought I was magical or something, but I'm not.

"His name?" The cold gentle voice spoke again.

"My name is..*******, Your majesty." I heard footsteps rush into here, greatly getting louder and louder.

"His highness the Fifth prince arrives into court on the order of his majesty, the emperor!" This voice shouted loud and echoed down the "court" whatever that means.

"Brother." This voice was much softer and more pleasant then his cold voice.

"My fifth prince, come meet this swordsman your brother brought here!" The loud voice echoed again.

I heard the softer footsteps approach me, I felt his hand on my shoulder, perhaps his eyes gazing at me? I had no idea.

"His eyes? They're so bright blue, hadn't the white been there he would much prettier." His soft-toned voice spoke.

I blinked, softly replied, "I'm blind."

He sighed softly, "Father, he has so much softer personality than the other trainers here, I think we should keep this one, to replace Kia."

Perhaps he didn't mind I was blind, had I not told him, I probably would have left to wander farther on, how far I haven't gotten a single clue.

"Agreed, far more caring if my princes think so? How do you think he is? Ministers?" The loud voice spoke softer, questioning the murmurers in the room I assume.

"Your majesty, I believe he'll do great if he stays here, though I worry what the princesses will think of him." A lower-pitched voice spoke.

"They'll treat him well, as I expect them to, as princess's of our nation." The emperor spoke, as I presume he is.
