66: Surviving through nightfall 1

The night was cold and calm. The gloomy clouds feigned in this era.

Everything was silent but....

Shwoooom!

Another snake's body fell to the side having lost it's entire head in a symphony of blood and flesh.

"Damn!" Hex gnashed his teeth at this dead figure. This was the ninth snake he had come across and killed.

Trailing down this same road through the night was seeming to get more dangerous.

He needed to abduct another method. Hide or find a place to settle.

That place needed to be far from exposed. Surrounded by a lot of protection and close to the road.

Every house on the street clearly filled this bill.

However opting at the first chance he got at any home would cost him his life.

There could be survivals, monsters, murderers and so on in the buildings.

This was a sigh he needed to be careful. At least for the night.
