With a grunt of annoyance, Malphas pushed open the heavy doors of the laboratory and stepped inside. The air was thick with the scent of chemicals and machinery, and the sound of humming generators filled the corridors.

Navigating his way through the maze-like hallways, Malphas finally reached the heart of the laboratory—the chamber where the Ouroboros Project was said to be underway. As he approached, he caught wind of the whispers circulating among the scientists, their hushed tones betraying a sense of unease.

Without hesitation, Lilith reached out to touch the orb, her fingers tingling with anticipation as she felt the power coursing through her veins.
