Silas:
I could still taste his flesh in my mouth, his blood was almost like a toxin itself. The man had dared put his hands on her, to threaten her. We should have kept tearing him open, maybe eventually he would have maxed out his healing like most wolves. She had asked us to let him go, why? Why did we let him go? I laid Seth down on the sofa in the front room. "What happened?" Her friend asked me as she looked over the wounds.
"The watcher put him into a forced shift and he went berserk. He tore through every tether she tried so she used a bolt. All his wounds are self-inflicted from trying to break it to reach her again."
Lane looked at me, "I'm glad I asked to stay longer, I'll keep watch of the barrier tonight. If he makes an entry I'll notify you immediately."
"The barrier was extended, be sure to stay on the inside of it. I'm not sure if we could let you back in without Sylvia right now."
