CHAPTER 28

"Hurry up and get me out of these. We gotta get out of here before Kang Taeshik comes back. Fuck, if only these ropes weren't filled with magic power! You got something to cut these with, right? Why aren't you saying anything? Are you not listening to me?!"

As the lowly Association-affiliated Hunter ignored him, the prisoner forgot the situation he was in and became angry.  The emotionless Jinwoo finally opened his mouth,

"The boss is straight up ahead."

"What?"

"He's stronger than an average C-rank Dungeon's boss. I'm curious what his attack pattern is like."

The prisoner lost all patience,

"Who the fuck cares?! Fuck!"

Jinwoo continued calmly,

"Before that, I want to ask one thing. Do you remember the girl you raped?"

"Huh? Which one? Are you related to one of the victims or something?!"

Jinwoo's eyes twitched.  "Which one"… he had guessed correctly.  The man's crime was not limited to just one victim.  Possessing great strength, a Hunter can easily become a monster before an ordinary human.  And this man had used that strength to violate women. This solidified what Jinwoo planned to do.

He wasn't a heart but if he brought good into the world without getting any hindrance he could do it.

Additionally, r@pe is one of the crimes he hates the most. He believes women are creatures to be possessed not to be violated.

He looked down at the prisoner and coldly spoke,

"Well, thank you for confirming."

"What? Mmm! Mmph!"

Before the prisoner could continue, Jinwoo gagged him again.  Then, he grabbed the man by his ankle and started dragging him forward.

"Mmm! Mph! Mmph!!!"

The prisoner struggled with all his might, veins popping up on his face.  Ignoring the man thrashing about, Jinwoo calmly dragged him all the way to the entrance of the boss room.

"MM!!! MMPH!!!"

Inside, there were hobgoblins, Shamans, and the boss Goblin Champion, known for their love of human organs and women.

"MMM!!! MPH!!! MMPH!!!"

The prisoner realized what Jinwoo was about to do.  He saw the hobgoblins, Shamans, and boss Goblin Champion, and shook his head fiercely, tears trailing from his eyes.  The front of his pants became wet.

"whooo-"

Jinwoo took a deep breath, then threw the prisoner into the middle of the hobgoblins.

But not before stabbing him in the heart so he could gain experience and the man feel the pain of being eaten alive.

"MMMMMPH-!"

"Kirik?"

"Kikikiki"

"Kiiiik!"

Smelling fresh meat, the hobgoblins, Shamans

leaped upon the prisoner as one and started tearing into his stomach.

"MMM!!! MM!!! MMPH!!!"

The thrashing prisoner moved so violently that a blood vessel burst in his head, turning his eyes red.

"Mmmph! Mmm… mph…"

Even as the man lost consciousness, the hobgoblins continued ripping and eating.  Could an ordinary human watch this violent spectacle of a man being eaten alive while keeping their lunch?

Jinwoo scanned the room with narrowed eyes, looking for the boss.

'There he is.'

A large Goblin Champion was sitting arrogantly in a faraway spot in the room. He looked similar to a goblin's slayer's Goblin Champion His subordinates were distracted by the bait, and the boss was left unguarded. This was Jinwoo's opportunity.

"Call Lighting

Call Lightning

Call Lightning

Lightning Arrow

Lightning Arrow

Lightning Arrow

Lightning Arrow

Fire Arrow

Fire Arrow

Fire Arrow

Wind Arrow

Wind Arrow"

"Zzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzz Swiss Swiss Swiss Swiss' ' Bam Boom boom. As Lightning bolts fell from the sky turning the hobgoblins, Shamans into ashes and the only thing that remained was their magic cores. And those who did survive got headshots with the shower of elemental arrows.

Ding~!

You've leveled up!

'Sprint!'

Jinwoo flashed past the ashes of hobgoblins and Shamans and their body parts, which were huge holes due to the shower of arrows. and appeared before the boss Goblin Champion.

"Kiiiik!"

The boss tried to rise in surprise, but his head was rolling on the ground before he was fully up.

thud

roll roll roll

Ding~!

You've defeated the boss of the Dungeon.

You've leveled up!

'Ah, I forgot.'

Looking at the Goblin Champion boss' head on the ground, Jinwoo remembered the Runestone he had gotten moments earlier.

'If I used 'Stealth', I probably wouldn't need to use this. Anyway, the more I use the spells the higher their levels will be and with spells, it's pretty easy to get rid of mobs. And it's not like I can use them in an open area.

Jinwoo clicked his tongue at the mangled remains of the prisoner.  His body still survived even after getting a direct hit from thunder. The body could not be recognized as human anymore. Still, Jinwoo did not feel any sense of compassion toward the man.

'Well, whatever…'

The plan had worked after all.

As Jinwoo stored the corps of Goblin Champion in the inventory. Then using his speed he collected all the magic cores of dead Hobgoblins and Shamans which had some value. And with numbers, it should give him good money.

After looking around he didn't leave a single crystal. Now there were only ashes and teared-up corpses as Jinwoo pulled out their magic core from their corps.

Jinwoo looked down on what remained of the body of r@pist his organs were gone his eyes were torn out of his eye sockets, and his left hand and right leg were nowhere to be seen. And it fourth° burns all over its body.

He nodded that it wasn't good in his account; he could have done it better.

As go down to his knees Jinwoo didn't any plans to leave him there,

As Jinwoo handled his body...

"Drain Life."

Skill 'Drain Life' has stopped working due lack of mana in the target's body.]

It was easy to take care of the remaining corpse as he used the life drain on all of them.

And there were a total of 40 corpses that had their bodies in good shape and even though they aren't much they did in fact give me 45 Mp and Hp..

When the last hobgoblin turned into a husk, a rather joyous sight appears before Jinwoo's eyes.

Amazing it's amazing not only did I get the highest grade skill to Level up but also gained an amazing title.

With now I can gain a single stat even though it's random it's still a big deal for forging the path of being OP.

And with the title 5% Extra damage is nearly applied to most species as most of them are Sentient Humanoids as even a dragon can transform into human Werewolves Vampires even Goblins they all are Sentient and they are Humanoids.

Jinwoo's face brightened at the unexpected growth.  He wiped the blood from Casaka's Poisoned Fang again confirming that he had collected the magic cores from the magic beasts' corpses.  After depositing the cores into his inventory, he called up his status screen.

In no time, he had almost reached level 50.  He was disappointed at first at the beginning of the Raid, but having taken down the hobgoblin boss and its subordinates, he had unexpectedly gained 1 level. And the next level isn't far from the grasp with a few kills he should level up again with his Experience bar of almost 90%.  It was lucky that all the strong magic beasts were gathered in the boss room.

'Wait, is it lucky?'

Jinwoo thought about the three different paths and the difficulty of the boss room.  If low-level Hunters spent the entire Raid taking down the weak goblins, they might've carelessly entered the boss room with confidence.  Then, the sudden leap in the strength of the hobgoblins, hobgoblins, Shamans, and Goblin Champion might've resulted in a terrible end for the Hunters. The difference between the goblins and the hobgoblins was that big especially if we add Shamans who can cast magic.

It was unusual for hobgoblins and Shamans

to make a nest in the boss room like just now.  It truly was impossible to predict what could happen in a Dungeon. One person's luck just might be a disaster for others.

Only a strong power could protect someone in the chaos of the unknown that plagued most of the world.  Because of that, Jinwoo wanted to become stronger.  The Hunters had already become an existence as dangerous as magic beasts. Even if they were being held back by society's rules, there were limits. Jinwoo had to obtain the power to protect himself.

'There are limits to Hunter's strength.'

He had no such limits and not he had any plans of getting it.

Increasing his attributes obtaining skills and gamic and obtaining new items, his power would rise infinitely beyond any logic.  And today, he has obtained another method to become stronger.

Runestones!

Jinwoo took out the Runestone from his pockets.  Just like other items, floating holographic letters formed the information box on the Runestone.

Runestone: Stealth

Break the Runestone to absorb the skill.

To an ignorant individual, this was just a small rock with strange markings on it.  To a Hunter, it would make anyone drool with greed, regardless of their rank. A high-ranker could use the skill, while a low-ranker could sell it.  Especially a Runestone with the skill, 'Stealth'. What Jinwoo held in his palms could probably fetch a price of several billion on the public market.  Ten times that amount at a black market.

The reason why a sale at a black market was more profitable was simple.  It was because such sales would not leave any records of who had purchased the Runestone.  Having a skill that no one else knew about was the same as holding a hidden trump card or a secret weapon.

'Just like Kang Taeshik was hiding the 'Stealth' skill.'

If Jinwoo's sense stat was not high, and he didn't have wind manipulation his back would've been exposed just like that.  He shuddered at the thought.

'Of course, I'm gonna use it. Selling it wasn't an option that even came into my mind.'

'To think that this little pebble is worth several buildings… The economy has become feeble and money holds less value than ever before

I put into action what I could only dream about in the past. Getting a power many want I clenched my fists around the Runestone.

crack

From the cracked Runestone, a subtle red light started to slowly surround his body.  The phenomenon was similar to receiving healing magic, except the light was red instead of blue.  It was not a bad feeling. The red aura whirled around his body, then entered his lungs through his nose, and a strange power began to fill Jinwoo's body.  A familiar electronic tone rang in his head.

Ding~!

You've learned 'Stealth' (Lv. 1)

'Alright!'

He had successfully absorbed the skill

'So I can use 'Stealth' now?'

At the thought of obtaining a rare skill, his heart began to race excitedly.  Jinwoo tried the skill out,

'Stealth.'

The skill responded to his thoughts immediately, and his body began to fade.  From the tip of his feet to the top of his head, his body became invisible. It was a strange feeling to not be able to see his own hands in front of him.

'Would this work?'

Jinwoo took out his dagger.  He felt the weapon in his hands but could not see it.

'I wonder…'

Just like the knife that Kang Taeshik wielded, Casaka's Poisoned Fang also had 'Stealth' applied to it.  As he thought, it wasn't a special function of Kang Taeshik's weapon but the power of the skill.

'What else can this be applied to?'

I picked up a stone from the ground.  It also disappeared from sight.

Does it mean anything I touch disappears? then technically I am touching the ground all the time and I can still see it?

And if it only applies to my hands then what about a house or a building?

'What about this?'

He went and put his hand on the shoulder of a dead hobgoblin, but it did not become invisible.  Bit by bit, he was beginning to understand the limits of the skill. It seemed that it applied to something that he was wearing and something that he could hold in his hands.

What I wanted was the 'Stealth' information.  The words appeared in the air before him.

Ding~!

Stealth

Level: 1

Rank: Rare (A-)

Skill Type: Active

Mana Cost: 200 MP (+10/Second)

AOE: None

Cool Down: None

Damage: None

Effect: Activate to disappear (sight, sound, smell) Become invisible, and hide the traces of your existence. Costs 10 mana per second to maintain.

"

Nothing changed well I felt I had jinxed myself and the cost will increase due to my mana being soo high.

The activation cost wasn't much and it uses up to 10 mana per second. It sounds like a good deal.

And my mana regen speed will never run out of mana.

And my mana and health regen speed itself got a good boost with skills such as Lesser Mana Affinity, Meditation, and mana flow level up granting me increased speed and a few points of health and mana.

And just by looking at how fast my mana regaining speed is (3933/3933 R: 13.87%(540.23) per minute) I don't think I will ever run out of mana just by using skills I currently possess.

And I changed my plans about the sex skill.
