CHAPTER 15

The spider howled and twisted its body.  I did not miss the opportunity. Landing on the ground, I immediately jumped on the ground. I put Casaka's Poisoned Fang in my inventory as it will be bad if it's bleeding on it which would have the spider to lose 1% of its health every second. 

And I am keeping it alive. So it would be stupid of me to keep using it. So after the spider lost its vision it started to throw its legs everywhere and bash its hand on the ground. 

The spider thrashed about and tried to get me blindly with its legs, but it was now turned into a struggle of a very powerful toddler for me. 

slam! slam! slam!

Bringing out two more daggers I cast Shrpan and Weapon Strengthening and then I started to slash its legs but I did not completely cut them.

Slash! slash! slash!

Screeeech!

Slash! slash!

Screeeeeeeeech!

The spider shook its body side to side, but I was cutting but I just didn't budge. and continued to slash off the spider's legs.  It began to falter. The damage was being done. My hands became faster.

What I did was to slash it's its Muscle,

The Circulation, Nervous system, I was making sure it can't even move, serving its tendnes from its legs to hands. As I continue to inflict numerous cuts around all its legs. 

It was very much possible that I wasn't doing it after all I only know about the human body and. How it works. 

But still, I was cutting the places where I see the most Muscles and Bone joints. 

Now the poor spider loses its strength to even stand. My eyes repeatedly attacked the remaining legs.

Eventually, the spider's giant body finally slammed onto the ground.

Boom!

Screeeech!

As it screeched in pain. 

Only the poor ground was turned into Swiss cheese. 

After seeing it wasn't able to move its legs, I stood in front of the spider. I wasn't done yet as its mouth was still very usable and it would spree acid from its mouth as soon as the spider felt I was distracted. 

I control my strength as I didn't want to kill it. 

After all, it's a monster it would always ignore the pain and prioritize killing humans.  

I was suddenly now towering over its head which put even fear in its head as I saw its mouth was moving.  utilizing my focus on the. My right arm pulled back for a punch, tensing with power, the chains on his arms flying freely. He was caught-

"Bam!-"

Boom!

I let out a devastating blow to the spider's head, crushing it against the ground with immense force.

"..."

"..."

"..."

The spider lost the glow in its eyes and its eyes shut down. Even after all this pain the spider fell unconscious. Its skull was shattered and its head was greatly disfigured.

Covered in the spider's blood, "Yes!" 

I raised my hands to the sky that was filled with Mana crystals that would soon be mine Having immobilized the boss.

"Hyungnim."

Yoo Jinho finished quietly, processing what had just happened.

Turning around, I saw Yoo Jinho.

"Please, come down."

I nodded as I leaped down from the spider's head.  After a light landing, he took a glance at the spider and confirmed it was out cold. 

"Hyungnim. You're thirsty, right? Here's some water."

The water was cold enough to collect condensation on the cup.

Good timing.  I was thirsty after the fight.  Still, I took the cup with a confused look.

gulp gulp gulp

The cold water went down refreshingly down his throat.

"How is it, Hyungnim?"

Now that he thought about it, Jinho's title for him had gone from "Hyung" to "Hyungnim".

"Mm, it's refreshing."

I returned the cup to Jinho.

"So what you just saw here-"

Jinho interrupted before I could finish my sentence, almost as if to tell me not to worry.

"Of course! I'll carry this secret with me to the grave."

"No, you don't have to go that far…"

"How can I not? It's my promise with Hyungnim."

"Well… Okay. If you feel that way."

"Don't worry about me, Hyungnim."

Besides, there was no way someone would believe that an E-rank Hunter took down a C-rank Gate's boss on his own.

'Thought he was bad at taking a hint.  He sure doesn't seem like it now. looking at me I can smell the fear from a mile away. 

"Would you care to store your magic crystals here, Hyungnim?" He said as picked up the mining tools that were in the bag that they gave me to carry. 

Phew, the equipment was obviously in the bag. What bad people.

I will mine the mana crystals now that we're here. He said as he started to walk towards the crystal. While sweating a lot.

"Stop," I said as he instantly stopped as turned around in a very weird way. 

"Yes Hyungnim," He said with a wide sweaty smile on his face. 

"Do you see that spider?" I said while pointing at it. As he started to sweat even more while nodding his head in a yes motion.

"You see I didn't kill it, So don't worry about the dungeon collapsing with the cuts I gave it I won't ever be able to stand. And with the punch I deliver, it's out cold so even if it wakes up its skull has shattered." 

"You understand why I did it right," I asked him. 

"Yes, I do Hyungnim if I'm not wrong it's to mine the magical crystals." He said with a very nervous looks. 

"Yes and if we did with those tools it would take us hours to mine this place," I said as he had a thoughtful face. 

I took out some special pickaxes and shovels that I enchant with sharpness and strengthening. 

As he saw how things were materializing in my hands he had wide eyes as he murmured. "S-spatial magic?!" 

"Use these, they are special tools, they will cut our mining time by half," I said which again had his eyes wide. 

But with trembling hands, he grabbed a pickaxe and a shovel. 

As he glanced at the tools again his eyes were wide. 

"Hyungnim were these magic tools."

"Yes kid, now start mining, don't you want your cut?" I said to him as he saw me mining at a very high speed. 

"Hyungnim I don't need my share as everything is done by you, in fact, I should be the one giving you something you saved my life."

"Ok, Jinho now talk less and mine more," I said as he was distracting me from speed mining I knew the party will come here in 15 minutes, and before that, I want mine as much as I can. 

So I activated Sprint. And with my new magical tools effortlessly break the crystals. It got even faster. 

"Wow Hyungnim, where did I get these? It's so fast it feels like I am hitting clay rather than hard ground and how easily the crystals are breaking. It's soo ama...." He said as he glanced at me and saw how fast I was working 

Which makes his eyes even wider and his jaw nearly touching the ground. 

After all, it's just that I was mining. I just threw my mining tools and was using my hands pulling the crystals out with my own hands and directly throwing them into inventory. 

And because of my incense strength, it was so fast that I nearly mined 10 of the area in just fifteen minutes and I had enough mana to maintain a Sprint forever. After all, I regenerated faster than it was getting consumed. 

No matter how fast it is, I do have to come up with a spell that can deal with mining, maybe something like an earthquake just less powerful, or even a skill that could allow me to control the earth. 

Something like Earth Banding. Well, whatever, it's just my wishful thinking. 

"Jinho, forget the things, and focus on digging as I am sure they will be returning at any minute," I said. 

And now he just remembered the people who left us as food for the spider. And he started to dig even faster. 

On the while, I was doing pretty fast.

Boom!

Bang!

the blockage.  Suddenly, the collapsed rocks blew apart in a flash. As both Jin-woo and Jinho turned around and saw the Dongseok group. And Jinho had bloodshot in his eyes. 

Hwang Dongseok and Co. entered the boss room.  Seeing the collapsed spider behind Jinwoo, their looks were incredulous.

"What the, it's dead?"

"Those two took it down?"

"Was the only thing scary its size?"

"Well, if it got taken down by a mare E-rank and a D-rank..."

"Hwang hyung, what do we do now?"

Hwang Dongseok looked at Jin Woo and Yoo Jinho and scratched his chin.  With the spider dead, the Gate would close soon. It was too late to start mining the mana crystals now. But as he looked and saw how Jinho had mining tools in his hands and a lot of magical crystals lying behind him,

But Jinwoo didn't even have a single crystal around him nor was he holding any mining tool and then looking at him he could see that Jinwoo was drenched in Spider's blood.  

What is the meaning of this? They weren't prepared for it. How did he look like this? Maybe Jinho killed the spider and then told Jinwoo to take out the core of the magic beast.

That's why he was drenched in Spider's blood. No, it can't be maybe it's definitely like this. and don't have time to think of that now the time remaining was less than an hour. He had to change the plan.

He shouted toward Yoo Jinho,

"Yoo Jin Ho!"

Yoo Jinho flinched and took a step backward, face was full of nervousness as he was holding tools.

Hwang Dongseok smirked,

"Your equipment really caught our eye, so we did a little investigation.  Your daddy turned out to be someone crazy! Yoojin Construction's chairman, Yoo Myunghan."

"So- so what?"

"Well, we're giving you a chance. We have some things we want to talk over with your daddy.  But if what happened here got out, our situation would become a little uncomfortable. So if you want to live, become our accomplice."

"An accomplice?"

Hwang Dongseok raised his chin towards Jinwoo.  At his unpleasant gaze, Jinwoo did nothing, just waiting for the drama to end. 

"Kill Sung Jinwoo."

"What? Have you lost your mind?"

Yoo Jinho panicked, but Hwang Dongseok looked at his face and laughed.  Their original plan was to kill Jinho as well. But they discovered that Yoo Jinho's father was the chairman of one of the top construction companies in the country.  With that in mind, a devious thought came to him. What if they filmed Yoo Jinho killing Sung Jinwoo, and used that to blackmail Yoo Myunghan?

'Yoo Myunghan's known net worth is about 10 trillion.'

If everything went right, they could earn several times more than what they would've gotten from the mana crystals.

"That is your way out of here. We'll let you live if you kill Sung Jinwoo with your own hands. Otherwise, we'll kill you both."

Hwang Dongseok's eyes became murderous.

"What are you waiting for? No one's going to know what happened in a Dungeon anyways. Is a D-rank cowering before an E-rank?"

Yoo Jinho looked to his side.  Jinwoo just shrugged in response.  "Do what you want" was what he was telling him.  Yoo Jinho threw the pickaxe he was holding and took out his sword with a determined face.

'Looks like he made his decision.'

Hwang Dongseok smiled.  

But the results were not what he expected.

Yoo Jinho took his sword and stood at Jinwoo's side.

"Oh? Going to team up against us?"

Hwang Dongseok spoke to himself.  The young master sure got gutsy after luckily taking down a C-rank boss.  

Jo Gyuhwan whispered to him from his side,

"Hyung, what should we do?"

Hwang Dongseok whispered back,

"For now, take care of Sung Jinwoo. We'll hold on to Mr. Moneybags for now. Our loss was too big today."

"Got it."

A bright light appeared in Jo Gyuhwan's hands.  Jinwoo just waited for the attack with bored eyes as to how it was going. He threw a simple attack that could have killed them multiple times in the period he was preparing.

Not saying anything even after they told Yoo Jinho to kill him.

And how he was just standing there not doing anything...

All of them were some big red flags. 

And these red flags were in front of Gyuhwan's party; they still didn't understand it.  

This would be his first time killing a Hunter.  However, he had no plans of being merciful to those who even thought of threatening his life and they had threatened his life multiple times.

Suddenly!

Ding~

The electronic sound rang in his head.

As his bored face turned into a creepy grin...

[An emergency quest has been created.]

He did not give the command to open it, but the quest screen had opened up on its own.  This was the first time this had happened.

Something behind the screen flashed.  It was the arrow of light released from Jo Gyuhwan's hands.

Bang!

Jinwoo's body was thrown from the explosion and crashed into the wall with great speed.

Slam!

The wall broke apart on impact and the pieces landed on Jinwoo.

"Hyungnim!"

Yoo Jinho tried to run to Jinwoo in panic, but Hwang Dongseok stopped him,

"Yoo Jin Ho!"

Yoo Jinho flinched and stopped.

"You better not pay any mind to a dead person and come here."

Hwang Dongseok gestured to him to come over.  Yoo Jinho turned and looked at where Jinwoo was.  As Hwang Dongseok said, Jinwoo was buried in rocks and did not appear to be moving.

"You… you murderers…"

Tears gathered at the corner of Yoo Jinho's eyes. "Hahahahahah '' Hwang Dongseok and his party laughed at his words.

It was the truth, after all.  They lost count of the number of people they had killed in Dungeons.

As they laughed at Yoo Jinho, Jinwoo didn't feel anything where if this og Jinwoo he would have needed to use stat recovery. He didn't feel much hurt because of his high level and stat. And the power of the attack is reduced by 10% plus his own physical defense and magical defense are pretty high. As he didn't even bleed a single drop of blood. 

Jinwoo was busy reading the window, his eyes below the rubble.  This was because the quest's contents were changing before his eyes.

So after some thought, what do you think about him going to DXD near the great war? Then transfer this data to Type/moon world making him a beast of human greed for wanting to get everything even if they didn't have no need for it. The Beast Collector. The Death Walker.

Evil of Humanity representing there greed and now wants preserve the greed. manifests in civilizations which have reached the height of their greed and are now past their transitional period.

Now the important thing is that suggests to me some good spells for mc attacks some unique op spells and skills.
