These trees were not only colossal but possessed an unnatural strength, making the forest seem an unsafe place for solitary wanderers. Beyond the protective walls of cities and villages lay the red zone, a domain where only those who hunted supernaturals ventured, seeking their crystals for various uses.
Deeper into a particular forest, filled with trees stretching up to 20 feet, stood a structure just beyond the woodland's edge. This stone edifice, a large building teetering on the brink of collapse, was once known as the "White House."
When Earth was besieged by supernaturals wielding their dark magic, which laid waste to lands, this curse of magic followed in their wake.
