Galvin walked to the residence of the local noble, Booklet, with a gentle smile as if he meant nothing hostile. Two meters away from his rear, Corre and Zayne were walking side by side while following him.
Booklet's place was one of the detached villas with their own gardens located in the only private subdivision in the town. It was where all of the local nobles live and enjoy their wealth. All big towns and cities were like this in the country—the three dukedoms and the king's territory. There would always be this division from the commoners and the upper class.
The paved bricked road outside the hollowed brown metal gates allowed four carriages to pass through at once. Street lamps lined the sides of the road every fifty meters. They were gas lamps placed at a height of an adult male which were lighted by the servants of the subdivision.
