Chapter 9

Yuji lies on the bed and thinks about what he is doing now, he does this for quite a while until the door opens.

A snow-white Hasse comes running through the door with a tablet in both paws. On the tablet is a plate and a glass of orange juice.

The dog places the tablet on the table and then leaves the room again, dragging the door behind him. Yuji gets up from the bed and looks towards the table. He gets up and walks towards the table. There is also a small folded piece of paper on the tablet.

Yuji opens the note and there it says. I have conjured up something for you, so eat up nicely, love Ella.

Yuji puts the note aside and takes the piece of bread which lies on the plate.

"It's just dry bread." Yuji bites into the bread and tastes a flavor that he knows from somewhere but can't place.

It tastes like... it tastes like, i just can't put my finger on it. i know this taste but i just can't put my finger on it.

I got it... it's the taste of gold meat. I've only eaten gold meat once in my life, and I'll never forget it. It was the only time I was ever treated like crap.

A tear runs down Yuji's cheek. Yuji remembers that day very well, it was a beautiful spring day. Yuji already lives in the small wooden hut, but Sun and her big brother still visit him regularly and always bring him something to eat.

One day only Sun showed up. Yuji asked her where her brother was, but she never answered.

Yuji bites into the piece of bread a second and third time, tears running down his face with each bite. he finishes the bread and drinks the glass of orange juice. then he lies down on the bed again.

A short time later the door opens and the hater comes in. Yuji looks at the door, which is wide open. He jumps up from the bed and disappears through the door.

The hater takes the tablet in the meantime and then leaves the room again. Yuji was lucky that the hater ran to the left and not to the right, otherwise he would have discovered Yuji. After the door of Yuji's room closes, the light in the room turns on.

Yuji walks slowly behind the hater. The two of them pass a closed door, and a bright light shines through the door.

What is it? Yuji opens the door slowly and carefully, but only until he can stick his head through the crack in the door.

Yuji sticks his head through the doorjamb and sees a white glowing glass ball or something like that. Yuji opens the door and walks through.

He slowly walks towards the glass sphere. The sphere starts to glow more and more the closer Yuji gets to the sphere.

He puts his hand on the sphere and the color changes from white to black. Yuji
