Power Struggle

Lucas:- But didn't you cook all the time before?

Nora:- All that time I cooked vegetable type dishes, but I don't know how to cook a fish!

Zen:- Ugh, fine. I will do it.

Lucas & Nora:- (.....)

Nora:- Will we be able to put that in our mouth? 

Zen:- Huh!? Hey!! I know cooking, you know. That will be the tastiest dish you will ever try.

Lucas:- I doubt it.

Nora:- Me too.

Zen:- Grrr.. Fine, just wait and watch.

Lucas:- Ok, ok. Don't fight. Let's cheer up. How about we try fishing with our powers? We need to improve our power anyways.

Nora:- But we don't know how to use it.

Zen:- Sounds fun! Our power always activates on its own, but we need to try to control it. Don't we? Let's try.

Nora:- If you guys say so.

Then they put their luggage down at a side, and fold their sleeves and pants up. Then they stepped in the lake. 

Lucas:- Hm. How can I trigger my magic? (He said while scratching his neck.)

Zen:- Maybe, we should chant some words or something?

Lucas:- Ehh? Then.. Abra Cadabra a fish come in my arms ra!!!

Zen & Nora:- (...) (They both were dumbfounded by Lucas's chant)

Nora:- (she holds her laughter in and stayed calm and collected)

Zen:- Pftt! Hahaha!! Was that a chant? Seriously? Hahaha. 

Lucas:- (Embarrassed) H-Hey. Don't laugh like that. You were the one who suggested it!

Zen:- Oh come on. I know I suggested it but that chant was hilarious. 

Nora:- Sigh. Forget about our power. Let's catch some fish first. Time is going. We need to leave again soon.

Lucas:- Huh. Okay.

Then they moved their focus back to fishing. When suddenly Nora saw a big fish but a little far away from him.

Nora:- Lucas, look! There is a big fish beside you. Catch it!

Lucas:- Huh? Where? (He was looking around to find it. Zen was further away but as he heard Nora's voice and noticed the fish. Before Lucas could understand or find the fish, Zen came and caught the fish at the speed of light. His dagger tattoo on his neck glowed for some time)

Nora:- H-Huh? When did you go there, Zen?

Lucas:- You were quite far away. (He was shocked as he suddenly saw Zen coming here with that speed.) 

Zen:- I.. don't know. My body again moved on its own. 

Nora:- Your tattoo is glowing Yellow. So it means you just used your thunder power. 

Lucas:- Makes sense. I felt like you came near to me in a *lightning speed*.

Zen:- Then, that means I learned another move. Then shall I try it again now?

Nora:- Only if you can.

Zen:- Hm. (He thought of moving to another place but it didn't work.) Ah? It.. It didn't work!?

Lucas:- Sigh. That means we can't depend on our power because we don't know how to activate it until it triggers itself. 

Nora:- Anyways, let's wrap up our work. We don't have all day to spend here. 

Zen & Lucas:- Okay!

Then they caught a few fishes, but they had to struggle a bit for it.

Zen:- I think it's enough for our lunch. You two can go take a bath. I will prepare lunch in the meantime.

Lucas & Nora:- Fine.

Suddenly Lucas starts to take off his shirt.

Nora:- (Blush) H-hey! What are you doing?

Lucas:- What? Taking off my shirt?

Nora:- Yeah, that's what I am asking. Why are you taking off your shirt?

Lucas:- How am I supposed to take a bath without taking it off? Why are you getting so flustered? 

Nora:- Y-You should remember that I'm a girl. At least let me leave first.

Lucas:- Oh? (Sudden Realization) S-sorry. Please go on. 

Nora:- You and You! I'm going to the other side of that big rock. Don't come near that! Understood!?

Lucas & Zen:- Aye aye mam! 

After a while, Lucas was done with his shower. While Zen was busy cooking. Lucas sat on the side staring at the lake. Nora hasn't returned yet. When he suddenly heard a shout of Nora's voice. Zen was too far away to hear that little scream. Lucas couldn't contain himself there and hurried to the other side of the rock. 

Lucas:- Nora! What happ…? (Before he could say more, Nora ran to him and hugged him in fear. )

Lucas:- A-ah? (Lucas got caught off guard by this sudden action.)

Nora:- There! There! There is something under water! That clinged into my leg!! Do something! (She pointed toward the water while clinging onto him with her eyes closed.)

Lucas:- Is there? Let me go first. I will check the place. (Nora let him go but clinged onto his left arm)

Lucas:- There is nothing but a… leech! 

Nora:- Kyaaaa! I hate bugs!! Kill that thing! (Holds him arm more tightly)

Lucas:- Okay Okay. I'm killing it. (After that he killed the leech)

Nora:- Phew! That thing is gone now. 

Lucas:- Now, show me your legs. 

Nora:- Huh? What!?

Lucas:- I want to make sure if you are alright or not. Let me see. You know that Leeches are bloodsuckers?

Nora:- Huhhhhh? Don't tell me that thing sucked my blood! (Immediately let him see her leg)

Lucas:- (After little verification, he let a deep breath go. She wasn't harmed) Thank goodness. You're unharmed. You're mus… (Blush) (He looked up and finally noticed that Nora was fully drenched and her clothes were hugging her body making some places of her body transparent.) 

Nora:- Thanks! I really can't stand bugs at all. (She replied with a bright smile)

Lucas felt as if he witnessed the first embrace to the earth of the sunlight. He wondered why this girl always hid her life-taking smile. Her smile was like sunshine. He stared at her for some moments but quickly moved his gaze away from her. 

Lucas:- I-it's fine. I will go first. Come quickly after changing. Otherwise you will catch a cold. (he stood up and quickly walked away).
