Encountering Other Vampires

Boom! The trio moved to the side surprisingly. The trio quickly unsheathed their weapons and stood in a defensive stance. They jumped from there and stood before the trio. All of them had a grin in their lip's corner. Their eyes were red and they had fangs and long nails. The trio understood that they are actually vampires and also dangerous ones. There were 5 people in total.

Vampire 1:- My my. We got some hunts here. (He said while licking his lips.)

Vampire 2:- That middle one looks juicy. That's mine. (He pointed at Lucas which made him shiver for a second.)

Vampire 3:- Come on. We gotta share. There are only three. You can't just set a territory.

Vampire 4:- That's right. Let's share them.

Vampire 5:- Don't fight. Let's see who catches them first. Whoever got who will be their hunt. 

All Vampires:- Okay! 

They started attacking the trio. All of them fell apart. Everyone was trying their best to fight the vampires. But they were too strong. They were behaving like a maniac. Zen and Lucas got caught in their grasp. The vampires were so intimidating that they couldn't focus on summoning their powers. Nora looked back at Zen and Lucas for a second as she heard their growls. And one of the vampires took advantage of that moment to throw away Nora's sword. He pulled her to him by her wrists and held her against his chest. 

Nora:- Ugh!

Lucas & Zen:- Nora! (They tried to struggle but both of them were restrained by two vampires.) 

Lucas:- Don't touch her, you morons! 

Vampire 5:- Ah ow. Looks like we got someone's sweetheart. I wonder how you will react when you see her wither in my hands. (He spoke while grasping her chin tightly)

With finishing those words, His hand slipped toward her shirt and unbuttoned the first two buttons revealing her refined collarbone and shoulder blade. He held her wrists behind her back as she tried to protest. 

Zen:- Stop it, don't do anything to her.

Vampire 5:- Why should we listen to you? Nah, to be honest who would listen to you when they get their hands on such a beauty like this? (He spoke while leaning toward her.)

Lucas:- I said, DON'T TOUCH HER!!. 

His eyes glowed as he used 'Aura Blast' attacks. It caused the vampire to open his grip on Nora's wrists. As soon as Nora got her freedom, she tried to move away from him but he again captured her. 

Vampire 5:- Where do you think you are going, darling? Wanna return to your lover's arm? (He again pulled her hands behind her and grasped her chin.)

Nora:- Shut up! Don't assume and spit out anything with your dirty mouth! Ugh!! (He increased pressure on her wrists as she moved in protest.)

The vampires who were restraining Lucas struggled a bit to hold him as his power burst out but they still managed to hold him down to his knees.

Vampire 1:- Oh my! Her lovebird is a spiritual warrior. It would be more fun to see him struggle. (They laughed sarcastically.)

He again pulled Nora closer and held her chin to tilt her head to the side. He licked her neck before placing his fangs there to suck blood. Nora winced in pain as she felt his fangs dig into her flesh. 

Vampire 5:- Mmm. Her blood tastes so good. We are having a good dinner tonight. (He licked the blood from the corner of his lips.)

Zen:- Stop it, don't hurt her.

Lucas:- Stop. Just stop already! (They pushed him down to the ground making him growl.)

He again approached her to take another sip but before he suddenly felt a sharp kick in his shoulder making him fall far away from Nora. Nora plopped to the ground as she got out of his grasp. All the other vampires gasped and looked forward just to see ArchDuke and his squad. They glared at his squad but they knew they had no chance in front of them. They left Zen and Lucas. They pulled up their partner and tried to run. But Caspian's squad surround them quickly and trap them in the place.

Lucas hurried to Nora and pulled her in his arms to give her support as she was panting.

Nora:- Get your hands off me, Idiot. (She pushed him a little while panting from the pain in her neck.)

Lucas:- No. You need support. You are trembling crazily. (He doesn't move away from her, instead pulled her closer.)

Nora:- You're such a fool. Who gives their enemies such an opening? You would've hurt yourself. (She grasped his collar tightly.)

Lucas:- Fine. How can I stay still when my precious friend is in danger? Curse me as much as you want when you are okay. Now be quiet. (He pulled her closer. She was feeling weak too. So, she doesn't protest anymore. But within a few seconds she lost her senses. As Lucas noticed it he shook her a little.)

Lucas:- Nora? Nora! Zen! Nora fainted. (He starts to panic but regains his calmness as Caspian assured that she is fine.)

Caspian:- Lucas. She is fine. She fainted because of exhaustion. She will be fine after taking medicine. (He replied while removing his cape from his shoulder and plopping it on her body.)

Lucas:- If you say so. (He draped her in the cape and picked her up in his arms.)

Zen:- Your grace, thank you for coming for us. We might have died if you hadn't come.

Caspian:- Don't say that, Zen. You are my guest, so ensuring your safety is also my duty. Now let's return. Mika and sir Aiden are worried for you guys too.

Zen:- Sure.

Then Caspian and his squad get them out of the jungle. Lucas carried Nora all the way. He didn't even let her go in the carriage. He sat beside her and held her, so she wouldn't fall on the way.
