Shadow boy

Joel Harp Magister is a New York City Wanderer with questions that go further back than he can even remember. He has no parents. He was raised by criminals, hobo’s walking the streets in alleyways and under bridges, kept hidden by the shadows. He is stuck in the hands of the man who found him, who treats him like a child, and hurts him, and never lets him leave. Life is a sad game of losing monopoly until Jess shows up. And Jess has a new plan. A good one. One that will hopefully save both of them from their different, but oddly similar realities.
