6. Singapore

Jasmine had already arrived at the airport, and she went straight to the airport cafeteria because she had promised to meet someone. She couldn't wait to meet that person, and her smile appeared when she saw someone waving a hand.

"Jasmine…," someone called.

Jasmine walked over to the person who was already waving and calling her name. She stopped her steps, then hugged the person so tightly while smiling.

"I thought someone had forgotten it, Diana," said Jasmine, a little annoyed.

"Hahaha... don't be angry, I can't possibly forget this best friend of mine!" answered Diana.

"What is it? Don't you usually want to see me?" Jasmine asked again.

"I miss you, and I know you are going to Singapore. I need your help, meet someone and see how things are for me," Diana replied in a severe tone.

"Who's he? Can't you go over there and see how things are?" continued Jasmine.

"Can not. If he saw me then I would be in trouble. Come on, help me, okay? Then I will always help you in every difficulty," Diana said pleadingly.

Jasmine sighed, "Alright I will help you and provide all the information about it."

"You are indeed my best friend, Jasmine Adam."

Diana said while hugging her best friend with a grin. She knew only Jasmine could carry out her duties.

"Okay. It's time for me to go, can I ask you something, Diana?" Jasmine asked.

"What's that? Say if I can then I will help you."

"Meet my mom and dad at the house during my absence. Mother misses her second daughter," answered Jasmine.

"What? Mother is already home. Why didn't you tell me! Do you think I'm a foreigner huh?!" said Diana.

"Don't create drama! I go. Remember my message," Jasmine said as she walked away, leaving Diana still looking annoyed.

Diana immediately walked out of the cafeteria. She got into her car then drove the car out of the airport.

"Mom, I'm coming!" Diana shouted in the car.

After travelling for more than an hour, Jasmine finally arrived in Singapore, and she also saw the name written on a white paper. She walked closer to the person. Jasmine knew the man who had always been helping her father manage the company in Singapore. And now he was going to help her.

"Miss Jasmine…," said a well-dressed man.

"Right. Are you Mr Sam?" Jasmine answered then asked again.

"No need to be this formal, you can just call me, Sam."

Jasmine frowned. She felt strange about this person in front of her. However, if you look closely, his age is below her.

"Okay. Take me to the office, aren't they already waiting," said Jasmine.

"That's right, Miss everyone is waiting for you," Sam replied, then motioned for Jasmine to walk over first. However, Jasmine told Sam to walk parallel to the lady.

However, Sam couldn't be too equal to Jasmine because he knew the boundaries between superiors and subordinates. He walked one step in front of Jasmine.

A driver was waiting. The driver opened the car door and invited Jasmine to enter. At the same time, Sam sat in the front right next to the driver.

The car left the airport straight to the company. The father is a shareholder of a company engaged in the hotels.

The car stopped right in front of a skyscraper. Sam got out of the car first, and then he opened the car door for Jasmine.

Jasmine got out of the car and smiled at Sam. With the meaning of thanks for opening the car door for her.

"Let's go straight to the meeting room," Jasmine said to Sam.

"Okay, Miss."

Sam walked to the meeting room. In the middle of the journey, a woman blocked him. She was Sam's secretary, looking very worried.

Jasmine just watched intently. She was curious as to what was going on. The two of them spoke so quietly that Jasmine couldn't hear clearly.

The woman walked over and greeted and saluted Jasmine. Without many words, the woman immediately resigned because she still had work to do.

"What is it?" Jasmine asked Sam.

"There's a client who insists on seeing Mr. Adam," Sam replied as he continued on his way.

"Tell him I will see him after the meeting with the shareholders. If he's still making a fuss then just kick him out!" continued Jasmine.
