Chapter 1: Delinquent Actions

At the beginning there was only light and darkness, endlessly battling for control. Gradually they began to intertwine, each taking properties from one another. Light began to dim while darkness grew brighter. This entanglement would change the laws of nature forever.

Smoke was billowing out of a decayed chimney, the chimney was attached to a house. This one story house could have once been considered beautiful. However, the house was barely standing, green moss growing on all sides. Within the building a man lay, around eighteen years of age, with pitch black hair and golden eyes. His golden eyes shone so bright few could maintain eye contact with him. Currently they had little more than a faint glow, having lost their usual joyous tint. The man appeared to be huddled in a corner of the dilapidated house with his hands and feet tied.

Surrounding this man were four delinquents who were yelling obscene words at him. "We should have never let you stay in our village," said one, while another shouted "We knew he was a good for nothing full-breed." The third and fourth members both nodded their heads in agreement, the man on the floor seemed to be in his own world not processing a word they said. The leader of the group began to grow impatient at the lack of reactions from the man. He shouted "You know what I'm tired of your crap Grey, I think it's time I teach you a lesson." Upon hearing his name Grey began to stir, however, it was futile to try and move against his bonds. Noticing the movement the leader became even more enraged, becoming so mad that he began beating the incapacitated Grey. The other members seeing their leader take the initiative followed suit. Soon all four members were raining fist and kicks upon Grey who was no longer conscious, and had become a bruised and bloody mess.

Minutes passed as the four delinquents continued their pummeling of the defenseless Grey, however, suddenly there was a knock on the door. All the members looked at the door, surprised to hear a knock, no one was supposed to know where they were. Each member immediately stopped beating the lifeless Grey, leaving him passed out on the floor. The leader of the delinquents took charge at that moment, ordering each member to grab something they could use as a weapon against whoever knocked on the door. There were no windows in the house so the delinquents would have to open the door to see who was awaiting them. Once everyone had grabbed a weapon the leader ordered the group into a semi circle around the door; allowing for enough space for each member to fully swing their weapon. Once everyone appeared ready, the leader swung open the door ready to attack the person who ruined their fun. However, the person standing in front of them was the worst possible person they could have seen.
