On New Year’s Eve, Chase Landon made a resolution, "I should make my life were more magical; I'll make next year a magical year.”
He suddenly gets overcome with exhaustion as the countdown to the new year ensues, falling asleep.
He wakes up in an unfamiliar church, in a strange town, in a strange body. He quickly learns this town isn’t ordinary, and he and many others are kept trapped and in check.
Thrust into a new world, in a new body, and new memories, as Adrain Martino. He is imprisoned in a town built by Adrain’s ancestors taken under control by outsiders.
Is there a chance for escape from the ones keeping them imprisoned? Are there people trying to escape, or has everyone lost hope? And are there others who woke up in this strange world from Earth-like Chase, is there a possibility of going home?
And as Chase moves through this world, who will step up to the mantle of power as a new era begins? The tides are changing; may the gods bless you.
