Approaching Thalia and capturing the child's heart and attention was one of Della Hernandez's ways of hurting Sarah.
Doing the same thing the woman had done when Sarah was trying to be both a friend and a place to complain about Mitchell.
Della never hides anything from Sarah, so she knows very well what her boyfriend always likes to do, and what Mitchell likes and doesn't like.
Sarah played so beautifully that she believed that the woman who was her best friend was the perfect person. Della and even her family not only consider Sarah an ordinary friend, however, she is like a sister and also a child to her parents.
However, all of Della's trust is shattered in the blink of an eye when Sarah starts bullying her. Blaming herself for Javier's presence, and accusing her of having an affair with his childhood best friend.
More painfully, Mitchell trusted Sarah's words more than Della, who was his own fiancé.
It hurts, when the man Della considers a part of her life chooses to marry Sarah only because of the terror of her affair with Javier which was committed by Sarah.
"You think I like your company all this time? Always making out in front of your eyes without caring about the jealousy in my heart? I hate you, Della Hernandez! So it would be better if you left Mitchell's life forever, or I gave him all the evidence. "
That threat made Della choose to leave right on her wedding day with Mitchell. Shame on both parents due to stupidity as well as the fear felt because of Sarah's threat.
Sarah's bluff made her weak. But now, he will not stand still. Della was going to prove her innocence, and all the photos were just Sarah's fabrication to trap her.
For that, she needs Javier to prove it. But, his friend is not known in the jungle. He comes when he wants to come back, and leaves when people no longer care.
"I need you, Javier. Please help me just this once. And after that, you're free to go as you please."
Those words were only expressed by Della in her heart. She was too shy to contact her best friend. Even though she should, she didn't need to doubt their past friendship.
"Miss teacher Deswita, are you okay?"
Thalia's question surprised and interrupted her thoughts. She turned to the direction of the voice and gave the little girl her best smile.
"Of course I'm fine. Why do you ask that, Thalia? Does the teacher look sick in your eyes?"
"No. It's just that Thalia found it strange to see the teacher daydreaming. Did something happen to you?"
The little girl was indeed too critical in responding to what was seen in front of her eyes. Not to mention the stubborn nature which is a scourge for all the teachers who teach Thalia.
Luckily, she was once part of the little girl's parents. During the years with them, Della came to know the nature and character of Sarah and Mitchell.
And the little girl is more dominant to Sarah's nature, which is easy to change in seconds if she doesn't like someone. However, none of Mitchell's traits flowed from the little girl named Thalia at all.
"It's strange ... Usually, the child's character is inherited from both parents. But, why is Sarah's dominant trait? And I don't know whose character is inherited from Thalia. But, for sure, it's not Mitchell's character."
Della remembered the conversation she had with Devan a few nights ago. Talking about Sarah and her daughter – Thalia. But, she never expected, it was an enigma that she only realized now.
"Could it be that Devan's suspicions were correct? Was Sarah pregnant before Mitchell? That means that woman also framed Mitchell? Crazy! This is really unbelievable. Sarah… you are a sly woman."

Mitchell takes Thalia's hair sample to a hospital without anyone knowing, including his parents and Sarah. He just wanted to know the truth and keep the evidence to reveal it someday.
"Are you sure you want to do this, Mitch? Think again. As a doctor, I do support your decision. But, as a friend, I'm afraid you won't be able to accept the fact that Thalia isn't your biological child."
"Just do the test, Alex. I'll accept whatever the result is. If it's proven that she's my daughter, then I'll be very happy."
"Are you sure? But okay. I'll check out Thalia's hair sample. Just pray for good results."
"Hopefully. How long will it take to receive the results? I just wanted to make sure."
"It will take about two weeks. Or maybe more. I'll teach you when the results are out. Or should I stop by the house to hand over the results?"
"No, let me come see you. Thanks again for your help, Alex."
Mitchell immediately left the hospital where Alex, his best friend, was one of the senior doctors there. He believes Alex can help solve this mystery. Even though, in the end, he had to accept the test results no matter how bitter it was.
"Mitch, it's me, Devan. Can you meet me in the cafeteria not far from downtown? I want to show you something."
A phone call from Devan made Mitchell immediately turn towards the intended place. He refused to return to the office and asked his secretary to cancel all appointments for today.
"I'll be very busy outside. Just tell me to change my meeting schedule with business colleagues. If they don't accept, just cancel our cooperation contract with their company."
Mitchell didn't care about the loss the company would incur if he canceled some important meetings with his business colleagues. Choosing to meet Devan and reduce curiosity is the most important thing at this time.
"I'll kill you if it's not important, Devan. Don't let my loss not be worth the news you want to tell me later."
Mitchell arrived at the parking lot that Devan was referring to. For some reason, his best friend asked him to find a parking lot far from the cafeteria where the two promised to meet.
"Where are you now? I'm in the parking lot."
"Meet me at a Starbucks coffee shop. I'm inside. Don't be seen by anyone when you enter. Hurry up!"
"Fuck! So I have to go undercover? What's the matter? Are you playing a prank to tease me, Devan?"
"I'll explain later. You'd better come quickly so you can still see the sight. Hurry up! Don't walk slowly like a princess."
"You really suck, Devan!"
Mitchell boasted a coat that clung to his burly body and left only a plain white shirt that he had rolled up to his elbows. Don't forget, sunglasses that make his appearance look even more sexy.
Mitchell hastily entered the entrance as requested by Devan. He wanted to throw a hard punch when he met his best friend. However, all his desires were dashed when Devan showed him a view outside the coffee shop.
A pair of lovers was cool to kiss and spit out intimacy without thinking about the views of the people who were there who stared at the behavior of the two.
Likewise with Mitchell, who looked straight at the two behind the glass window in the coffee shop with Devan.
"His name is Abraham. He's one of the architects who worked in Sarah's father's company. Their relationship was never approved by Sarah's family because the man wasn't a rich man like you."
"So what did you want to tell me after I found out about Sarah's affair with Abraham?
"According to reliable sources, their relationship is very far from that of a husband and wife. Exactly one week before you decided to marry that woman, someone once took Sarah to a hospital to see one of the obstetricians and have her uterus checked."
"Then, what does that have to do with me? It's natural for a woman to have their fertility checked, isn't it?"
"That's natural. But not with Sarah. Because she's not married yet."
"Speak the truth, Devan. Don't beat around the bush. I can hit you if I'm upset."
"She's pregnant, Mitchell. Sarah's over there for a check-up.
Mitchell's suspicions were correct. Apparently, Sarah had not only lied to herself all this time. But also his extended family and also Sarah's own biological parents.
The woman was very good at covering up her pregnancy as well as her bad nature to everyone and came across as a gentle and respectable woman.
Mitchell gave a round of applause to the snake woman who was his current wife. For years he had been lied to by his own wife about the affair and news of a pregnancy that moved their two extended families.
But, now, he has to accept the harsh reality that Thalia is not his biological daughter. Although the test is not out yet. However, the information Devan got from reliable sources allowed Mitchell to come to his own conclusions.
Sarah is a snake woman. And he was increasingly convinced Delia's departure at that time must have something to do with that woman. However, he could not prove everything.
"We'd better get out of here before they see us, Mitch. I've taken pictures of both of them for proof if you ever need them."
Without another word, Mitchell walked out of the coffee shop as quietly as he did when he came. He looked back at the two infatuated couples one more time before walking away holding the pain in his chest.
"Just be patient a little longer, Mitchell. It's not time for you to expose your wife's rottenness. Sarah, you will receive a severe punishment for lying to everyone."
