Earlier in the day…

/"I need a group south of the house and two smaller groups east and west of the house. My group will take the front./" I gave both packs specific instructions. /"We have to move smart, fast, and make sure to get in and get her immediately./"

After confirming the plan, I continued.

/"I need her back./" I could see the worry in their eyes. Some were hopeful, some were worried that their Luna would not return. Those type of thoughts upset me, but I need them to have their heads on right.

/"She’s still alive, I can feel her./" I confirmed, watching as their eyes filled with hope.

Once finished, they always dispersed from the cabin to prepare for sunrise.

I sat down to think. I couldn’t. I could not think of anything else besides her. All I could think about is the woman I put in danger, the woman I introduced into this world.
