The Warm Welcome of the Astronauts

As soon as Ars landed on the ground, only Byakuya dared to approach him.

"Wow, if you look closely, you have quite a handsome face. Don't get me wrong, I don't envy you, in my youth, I was no worse than you."

The conversation opens with Byakuya praising the other party as well as himself.

"Pffft..."

Lillian stifled a laugh at that.

"What did the uncle say?" The corners of Shamil's mouth twitched, and the others smiled helplessly.

In the face of unknown extensions, Byakuya shows no fear and remains as usual.

Ars slightly admired Byakuya's attitude, since the other party was friendly, there was no reason to be indifferent.

"Hello, human. No need to be alert, I come in peace."

"From your words as if you are not human."

No imbecile can become an astronaut, even though Byakuya looks carefree and reckless, his intelligence cannot be doubted. It was only through a brief exchange that he realized the implications of the other party's words.

"Your mind is quite sharp. That's right, I'm not human." Ars frank.

"Then what are you, alien?"

Lillian stood beside Byakuya, and asked her questions.

Ars didn't answer right away, pondered for a moment, and gave his answer.

"Hmmm... It depends on the definition of alien itself. If defined as life that is not from planet Earth, you may consider me an alien, but I consider you a traveler from another world."

"A traveler from another world?"

Byakuya and Lillian looked at each other.

"Looks like this is going to be a long talk, if you don't mind, please come to our humble hut."

Judging the young man in front of him as non-hostile and friendly, Byakuya invites him to be his guest.

"Sure."

Ars accepted the invitation.

Later, Byakuya and the others lead Ars into the half-built hut.

In the middle of the hut are a table and chairs made of wood.

"This place is only half finished, I hope you are not disturbed."

Byakuya scratched the back of his head and said with a smile.

"It doesn't matter, I don't care."

Ars was used to living in the wilderness, for him this hut was pretty good.

"Please sit down, I'll get you a drink. Let's go get some coconuts, Shamil, Yakov."

"This time it's your turn to climb a tree, uncle." Shamil glanced at Byakuya.

"Eh, don't we usually use rock paper scissors to determine who climbs the tree." Byakuya says reluctantly.

"Don't argue, leave quickly, it's not good to keep guests waiting."

As the oldest in the group, Yakov stopped the two from arguing.

After they left the hut, only three women remained.

Without Byakuya present, the atmosphere becomes awkward.

Darya and Connie didn't dare take the initiative to start a conversation.

"Oh, I still don't know your name." Lillian asked curiously.

She has been to space, but found no UFO, and now there is an alien in front of her. Of course there are many questions in her mind.

"Ars. That's my name." Ars answered.

"Only Ars? Don't aliens have surnames?"

"As I said before, I'm not an alien according to your cognitive. More precisely, I am an individual from another world, not from outer space. Also, I don't have a family."

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to ask this..."

"No need to apologize, it's not like my family has died or anything. My birth method is different from yours, humans."

Lillian, Darya, and Connie didn't really understand Ars' explanation.

"Ah, we haven't argued, my name is Lillian, this girl is Connie, and this pregnant woman is Darya. And as for the guys, the one who spoke to you before was called Byakuya, the big uncle was Yakov, and the blonde guy who always had a sullen expression was Shamil. Nice to meet you, Ars."

Lillian introduced the friends one by one.

"En." Ars interrupted in response.

"Ars... If you're not human, then what are you? If you mind, there's no need to say it."

Connie ventured to ask. After observing him, she felt that the mysterious young man named Ars was very easy to communicate with, even though his expression was somewhat deadpan.

"Idaten." Ars answered briefly, clearly, and concisely.

"Idaten? Is that a certain race?" asked Connie.

"We're back."

Before Ars could answer, the door of the hut opened. Byakuya, Yakov, and Shamil had coconuts in their hands.

"Use this."

Using [Weapon Manifest], Ars created a knife and placed it on the table.

"Wow, where did that knife come from? Can you do magic?" Byakuya is dumbfounded at the sight that science can't explain.

"Talk about that later, serve the coconut first."

Lillian took the knife and gave it to Byakuya.

Ars narrowed his eyes, Lillian's actions looked like those of a virtuous wife helping her husband from his perspective.

"This knife is very sharp!"

Byakuya exclaimed in awe because he easily split the coconut open.

"Let me try."

Shamil senses that Byakuya is overreacting, picking up his knife, he slices open the coconut without much effort, much to his shock.

"T-This is preposterous… Even the sharpest knife in the world wouldn't be able to slice off a head like this."

"Be careful with that knife, if you accidentally cut your own finger, it's not my fault." Ars reminded them.

Every weapon that Idaten made was of a quality above that produced by humans. It was like comparing heaven and earth.

With the knife Ars gave them, they sliced the coconut and served it on the table.

"Thank you for the knife, may I have this knife, please? This will really help our daily life."

Byakuya frankly wants the knife. Their current location is on an uninhabited island, and is severely lacking in tools.

"Oi, uncle."

Shamil glanced at Ars, worried about upsetting him.

"En, since you like it, just take it." Ars doesn't mind.

"Thank you very much..."

Suddenly Byakuya realizes he doesn't know the name of the young man in front of him.

"His name is Ars." Lillian reminded.

"Thank you very much, Ars. You have no idea how hard it is to live on this island." Byakuya says sincerely.

"Taste it, fresh coconuts just picked."

Yakov thrust his head in front of Ars.

Taking the coconut, Ars drank it with everyone. He licked his lips and said: "I have been drinking coconut water for more than 200 years. Thank you for the hospitality."

"Prrffffttt... Cough Cough Cough..."

Ars' casual words cause Byakuya to spit coconut water out of his mouth as he chokes.

"2-200 years?! Ars, you're not kidding, are you?"

Lillian and the others stared at Ars with shocked expressions. Today, they don't know how many times they have been shocked and there will probably be more and more.

"Does it look like I'm joking? Also, I am over 200 years old." Ars said calmly.

"Could it be that all Idaten live long and stay young?"

"Idaten? What is it, Lillian?"

This is the first time Byakuya, Shamil, and Yakov have said that.

"Ars said his race was Idaten, I don't really understand myself either."

Lillian looked at Ars, waiting for him to explain to everyone.
